Hazel opened her heart to trusting Linda after noticing how nervous Linda was. She had to think that if Linda was unaware like she said she was, it would be hard to stand here whilst knowing that her grandfather was going to be killed for what he plotted.

Linda should be with her family but she was standing here with Hazel. That was enough for Hazel to start trying to trust Linda again and to regret even doubting her in the first place.

Hazel didn't enjoy sitting in the room as it only added to her feeling depressed. Hence, the women stumbled upon the idea of distracting themselves by destroying Alessandra's extra canvas in the room.

Hazel didn't know why she hadn't thought of destroying something before because all her anger started to go away with each canvas that she broke on the floor. She could destroy the whole room if they would let her.
