"I'm sure she will be fine. No need to panic. The duchess seems to know how to care for herself and should she need any help, she can call upon us," Hazel said to calm Heather. "It was nice of her to let you sit with us."

Heather agreed with Hazel. What woman in town would be so friendly to another who once was pushed to marry their husband by his mother? "I don't know why," she answered.

"Because she has a good heart. I am privy to a little bit about her childhood because of an ongoing court case so I understand why she is so willing to help others. When it comes to marriage, that is something I cannot do. Well, I have not been tested by it," said Hazel.

There was never once a woman Tobias might have previously been with or a woman who courted him in the past came to Hazel to let it be known. Her troubles came from the women trying to court him now and she already knew their intentions so she wasn't surprised.
