Chapitre 11: Indecisiveness that comes along
'Welcome my dear.' Recce mother said warmly to Svetlana. They embraced, come this way.
' Thank you for inviting me to your home. ' She replied smiling.
' This is my mother Mrs. Victoria,' Recce said to Svetlana.
' Mother meet Svetlana my girlfriend.' He added.
Nice to meet you, they said both in unison to each other.
'Your grandfather is already waiting at the gazebo for us , that where we are having our lunch from.' Mrs. Victoria said while leading the way.
'Your garden is very beautiful,' she told Mrs. Victoria.
'Thank you dear.' She responded.
As they approached the gazebo, Mr. Nicholai stood up.
'Grandfather meet Ms. Svetlana my girlfriend.' Recce introduced her to him.
'Nice to finally meet you Mr. Nicholai, I have heard a lot about you.' She extended her hand to him with a smile.
'I hope you have heard go things about me though.' Mr. Nicholai asked teasingly
Svetlana smiled back at him. And they all sat down to begin eating lunch. Recce sat next to Svetlana, he took hold of her hand under the table to give her assurance that everything will turn out okay. They were silent waiting for the maids to complete serving them but Mr. Nicholai and Recce's mother were observing the two love birds keenly as the two exchanged glances at each other. Clearly they could see that they were in love with each other. The maids left and Mr. Nicholai said,' Lets dig in.'
' How long have been dating ?' Directing the question to Recce.
'For 3 months now.' He replied.
' Svetlana Where did you and my grandson meet?' Asked Mr. Nicholai
' I was at his hotel meeting a client when he accidentally poured hot cappuccino on my suit before my client arrive. So he had to help me clean it and also distract my client to wait for me.' She said smiling.
As the were having their lunch and getting to know each other. The doorbell of the Mansion rang one of the maids got the door, it was Michaela.
' Am here to see Mrs. Victoria?' She said.
'Am sorry Ms. she has visitors wait here so that i can notify her your here.' The maid cautioned
' Its not necessary am a good friend of the family, where are they.' Michaela said rudely.
She said,'In the Gazebo while following her.' Trying to reason with her to wait so that she can notify Mrs. Victoria.
They were enjoying their lunch peacefully, when Michaela arrived unannounced.
' Hello family!' shouted Michaela
'Long time no see.' She added.
'Hi Michaela!' Mrs Victoria said while standing up to hug her.
' When did you arrive?' Mrs. Victoria asked
' Yesterday.' She replied
She sat down and joined them at the table.
Recce was not happy to see her, it was evident. Michaela saw Recce wasn't paying any attention to her at all and she got mad.
'This is Recce girlfriend, Svetlana.' Mrs. Victoria introduced her to Michaela.
' Nice to meet you', Svetlana responded.
' Where are your family from?' Mr. Nicholai asked Svetlana
' Its just my mother, sister and son and she is from Manisa.' She replied.
' Oh you have a son? How old is he?' Michaela asked sharply.
' Yes, five years old.' She replied
' I did not know Recce now days is into dating single mother!' Michaela said disappointedly.
' Who i date is none of your business.' Recce snapped
Svetlana felt insulted but decided to keep quiet. Then she excused her self and went to the washroom. Mr. Nicholai just observed silently.
' Can i talk to you privately?' Recce commanded Michaela.
He stood up and went to the living room, she followed behind.
' What are you doing here?' He asked angrily.
' I came to pay a visit to your mother , we go way back.' She replied innocently.
' I called you yesterday but you didn't pick my call?' She added
' I was busy.' He replied
' With her? You forgot about me that quickly.' She asked.
She saw Svetlana coming from the washroom. And took that advantage she went close to Recce and kissed him passionately on the lips by surprise. When Recce pulled her away from him. He saw Svetlana looking at them from the entrance of the living room.
' Its not what you think!' He shouted walking toward her. But she did not want to here any of it, she very was angry.
She rushed to the gazebo, Recce followed her hurriedly, took her purse from the table. She excused herself to Mr. Nicholai and Mrs. Victoria and left. Recce reached up to her and grabbed her. She turned around and slapped him on the face. He let go of her.
' Do not follow me.' She told Recce. And left.
Mr. Nicholai and Mrs. Victoria were all shocked to what they were witnessing, they approached Recce. Michaela was standing at the window of the leaving room smiling, she had accomplished her goal.
' What happened?' Mr. Nicholai asked
' She found me and Michaela kissing.' He replied.
' What? i can't believe you son how could you do that.' Mrs. Victoria said disappointedly
' But she kissed me by surprise, i did not want to.' Said Recce.
' Do you still love Michaela?' His mother asked.
' No i don't.' He replied angrily.
' Then you need to go and solve this issue now with Svetlana before its too late.' Mr. Nicholai added.
' Where is Michaela?' Recce asked the butler.
' She is in the living room.' He replied
Recce left hurriedly back to the house into the living room.
' I don't ever want to see you anywhere near me Svetlana. We are done and i also don't want your friendship.' He said angrily.
' But i still love you.' She shouted
Recce did not pay any attention to what she has said.
' I think we are done here Michaela.' He replied
Recce took out his phone to call Svetlana while heading to his car. But she did not pick up. He was worried he has never seen Svetlana that angry. He drove straight to her house.
