Jamal watched as the mages in front of him prepared for combat. He remained expressionless, but in truth, he was in full alert as he knew how difficult it would be. 

They were all in a dire situation, and there were a lot of what-ifs in his mind. What if they did plan more before? What if there they have the others with them? So many what-ifs. 

A part of him felt that they were all not prepared enough for this sudden attack, despite being soldiers. 

Despite all this, Jamal knew that he could not simply leave the mission unfulfilled if they managed to free Alexander, all the possible information that he had would go with these people. 

The Virtues would end the enemy at the front door at any moment, and all the invaders within the mansion would undoubtedly be eliminated, but as long as that happened, he had to stop them.
