Chapitre 74: A Hard Bone to Crack (1)

The man stood up and tried to raise one of his hands to activate his vines. Still, Malcom, with speed, kicked the side of his body, breaking one of his arms with the power that his magic treasure generated, Emanuel screaming and twisting, fell to the ground, just to see how Malcom created a spear and said.

"You're going to tell me where Nora is!"

Sarah looked to the side as Malcom attacked Emanuel and, losing sight of Skyler, listened.

"Hello! You should focus on me!"

When she turned her gaze to the front of her, she saw how the goddess of fire landed in front of her and used the same attack, but this time with both hands inches from Sarah's abdomen, she said.

"Eyes on your opponent, darling!"

The two blue flames came out of her fingers to hit Sarah's abdomen and make her fly around the place until she crashed into the wall. The attack was such that the young woman spat blood instantly, and holding her stomach, she tried to search for Skyler with her eyes, but she could not find her. Instead, she watched as Minerva in the air was engulfed in blue flames.

Seeing that Sarah began to feel how those flames consumed her body, she cut the bond with Minerva without being able to bear it. By doing that, its corpse was completely consumed to ashes. At that moment, Skyler wrapped in blue flames landed in front of her and said.

"I hope that wasn't your most powerful corpse!"

Sarah was terrified to see Skyler's victorious smile as they both heard Emanuel's terrible cry of pain from the side of the room. Skyler turned her gaze, and watching Malcom, he buried the tip of the spear in Emanuel's hand as he screamed.

"Where is she!!? Stop lying to me!"

Emanuel did not stop squirming and Skyler, widening her eyes in surprise, said.

"Malcom!!"

Malcom looked at her, and his anger that rose without stopping was controlled. Skyler's eyes were full of fear, and he remembered the promise he had made. At that moment, he took the spear out of Emanuel's hand, took a deep breath, and he said.

"I am sorry! Maybe we should take them to the authorities! "

Skyler smiled, but in that instant, a voice on the second floor of that room said.

"Why do you mistreat my subordinates?"

Malcom and Skyler turned their gaze, and a man in a black four-button suit, red shirt, and black tie smiled as his blonde hair tied in a long ponytail that reached his waist, said.

"Don't mistreat them… They clearly already lost the battle! Is that what the virtues teach you?"

Skyler looked at him, and seeing Sarah said.

"Friend of yours?"

Sarah, when she saw him, smiled and with a shout of joy she said.

"Bones!! This girl eliminated my Minerva!"

The man sighed deeply and calmly, he said.

"That was not good, Skyler! I spent a lot of money on that body… your father will have to pay for it!"

Malcom, without giving time to talk, used the power of his treasures, and flying in the direction of the man, he turned his dagger into a huge hammer and tried to hit the man. He observed how he, without moving, received the impact with his head and did not stop smiling.

Backing away, not believing what he saw, his eyes met Skyler's when the man said.

"Surprise attacks... I like this generation of good guys. This will be fun!"

And seeing him, a victorious smile appeared on his face.

"I love that attitude to attack without warning!"

Said the newcomer after receiving Malcom's brutal attack with his face. The marked young man walked away and, looking at Skyler, she nodded and approached. She made both of her hands light on fire and pointing with her two fingers in the direction of the man in the suit, she said.

"Blaze of Fire!"

The attack that she had already used before raised her hands in the man's direction, who smiled, raised his hand, and when the attacks hit, a huge explosion surrounded him, leaving a smokescreen covering all of his humanity.

Skyler and Malcom hoped that the attack had taken effect, but when the smokescreen lifted, the man smiled as he dusted off his suit, smiling. He said.

"What a great attack... but since you saluted now, it's my turn!"

Saying that, he raised his open hand above his head and, making a violent slap to the air, activated the magic, attacking the mages with fragments as small as a rock that flew in their direction.

Skyler raised her hands, activating a blue flare that protected her, while Malcom raising his hand in a cast, activated the magic shield and, placing the dagger in the form of a shield, protected himself from it. The impact was so strong that Malcolm's magic shield was destroyed, and fragments of what that man had thrown embedded themselves in his shield.

When Malcolm looked at it, they were small fragments of bones that had crossed his defense, and when he looked at him, an expression of astonishment appeared on his face, and looking at the man he said.

"Who the hell are you?"

The smiling man said.

"My name is Michael! But everyone calls me Bones!"

Malcom looked around him, and the idea passed through his mind that the name suited him very well. The smiling man added.

"I am a Bone Elemental… I tell you that because I know that you are a materializer who fights with cards, and I know that she is a fire elemental! Now we all know who we are!"

Malcom, with a frown, looked at Skyler, and when he saw her, he said.

"Cover me!"

Saying that, he took his dagger and sprinted close to the man. Bones wanted to attack him again, but from Skyler's direction, several fireballs flew to him.

Observing them, he threw bones from his fingers to stop the fireballs, making them explode in the air, but this gave Malcom enough time to take his flank.He created a curved sword with his dagger attacking him from the side.

Bones, without moving from the place where he had stopped the attack with his bare hands, a thread of blood came out of his skin, but he said smiling.

"It was a good attack, boy…!" When he said that, his hand was covered by a layer of Bone that, with one movement, broke Malcolm's sword, transforming it back into a dagger, "But not good enough!"
