She stroked his scars, feeling how his body tensed as her fingers trailed from his chest down to his hard abdomen. He let out a small moan as she stopped by a deep cut on his navel. From the way he was reacting, he must still hurt, she thought to herself.

"So why is it taking longer for you to heal? Am I really doing something to affect your mortality? Does it still hurt?"

She leaned in closer, her sweet breath spilling onto his skin as she tried to take a closer look at some of the wounds. Some of the scars were faint markings against the skin, while some others had ridges.
