All watch as his grimace intensified before blood was spat. They were loving it, but this was the patriarch's cue that things should come to an end. He was a cocky individual, so much so, that he went as far as insulting the previous patriarchs. He soon found this was foolish when he was permanently placed in a comatose state. It was that incident that ruined the proposed alliance.
