"Violets" she said suddenly.
"Huh?" Jeremy asked confused.
"Remember my second night here? When you took me into your garden and asked me what flower I liked the most?" She said enthusiastically "I said I would let you know when I could better see them. The violets."
She was glowing a little with her happiness. Jeremy took the small woman's happy glow in and for a moment it lit up his world. He sat up looking at her with the eagerness of a child.
"You planted them for me didn't you?"
"My mother named me Violet, after her favorite flower, little did she know I'd have pink hair and not purple like hers." Violet smiled reminiscing on her mother, Violet couldn't remember much about her mother since she died in child birth, she heard stories and their were pictures of her. Violet's father never once blamed her for him losing his wife.
