Chapitre 179: Veiled Sea

Meilyr stared at the seat before him. 

More particularly, he focused on the little girl leisurely sipping a cup of Yuranian black tea on top of it. 

Elegant strands of purple hair swayed with the slightest shift of her head, and her blue-and-purple eyes shone with an unknown glint as they juggled between her drink and Meilyr. Her features were refined and delicate, punctuated with butterfly-shaped stigmata. She would surely bloom into an incredible beauty in the upcoming years.

"Lady Cardei, was it?" Meilyr said, hiding his bemusement behind his mask. "I'm surprised you found your way into my chambers unscathed. I'm told my retinue is holding fast on the other side of the door."

"Oh, they did try to block me. I simply had Yarikh knock them out," she answered nonchalantly. "Also, Eliza will suffice—only for you, though." 

"Interesting. Well then, Eliza. May I ask about the reason for this visit?"
