"YOUNG MASTER, a letter from the dukedom of Van Renesselear has arrived for you"

Ser. Jasper sighed as he continued shooting the target. "Just leave it at my table, along with the rest. I would respond to Louisa's letter when I am less busy".

"It is not from Lady Louisa," Giles informed, still holding the letter on the tray. 

"Then who—" The words got stuck in his throat as he paused his shooting practice and took off the noise-cancelling gizmos. It didn't take long for him to realize who it was that sent the letter. 

"Lady Luella?" He asked, wanting to be sure. But before he replied, a mocking snort came from beside him.
