First off, she took out a Hundred-year Ginseng. One of the plots would be devoted to ginseng; it was valuable. If she could harvest a few hundred roots, she'd be rich. However, since she didn't have ginseng seeds, she simply planted the whole ginseng, leaving its growth to fate.

She decided to plant grains in another plot, opting for wheat, so she would always have flour. Although wheat was available in her space, she'd never farmed before and had no idea how to grow wheat, so she just scattered a handful of wheat seeds on the ground.
