Yang Ruxin, though not worried about getting bitten by the snake, was concerned about wasting time, as she realized that the snake was not leaving, but rather circling nearby in her space, which could not move. What to do? She couldn't stay in her space forever; if she descended the mountain too late, the youngsters at home would start to worry.
Fortunately, after about fifteen minutes, Yang Ruxin noticed that the small green snake had moved away a bit. She breathed a sigh of relief, then flashed out of her space and ran.
The small green snake immediately got excited. "So it's still here," it thought, and swiftly leapt up, aiming a strike toward the back of Yang Ruxin's neck.
Yang Ruxin, of course, couldn't let it bite her and quickly flashed back into her space.
The snake bit the air and, having learned its lesson, waited at the spot where Yang Ruxin had disappeared, thinking, "Let's see if you can stay in there forever."
