The Golden Triangle: the only triangular zone in Southeast Asia that is made up of the borders of the three states - Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos.
A large area of the Golden Triangle is covered with mountains and hills that were located one thousand meters above sea level. The climate there was mostly hot, but was blessed with an abundance of rain. The fertility of the land promoted the growth of poppy plants. The land was densely covered with trees. The roads were rough and uneven. The folklore was sturdy, as all three states had their own plans. They didn't want to waste too much energy on the annihilation of the Golden Triangle which would then lead to the decrease of their right of speech in the Federation.
In addition to that, there were a few people within these states who had a deep relationship with the Golden Triangle, which led to a high conflict of interest.
