Chapitre 84: She Couldn't Replace You In My Heart

Zi Ye turn silent. He still remembers ten years ago, he witnesses how depressed Zi Yan back then. He was just thirteen years old at that time and know less about love.

While Zi Yan is twenty at that time and he still a student in a university where he teaches right now. He knows this young professor in the literature department whose named is Cheng Xi.

Since both of them has the same hobby, they spend more time in the library and that makes his brother, Zi Yan fall in love with her years ago. But he was rejected and the reason is that the girl has fallen in love with someone not from this universe.

They still befriend, and she told everything that happens to her in that world. If she tells other friends, they will assume she was imagining things, but not with Zi Yan. He simply believes her words.

But she has done something in that world which she doesn't tell him. When she returned to this world, she had high fever for days before she finally collapses and drives her to the comatose state for ten years now. Her family has decided to shut down her life supporter machine at the end of this year. That news has makes Zi Yan sadder and stress out lately.

When he saw Ning Zhi also read the same book as Cheng Xi did, he feels restless and even turns anxious.

"What? You don't believe my word?" Zi Yan looks at his little brother face.

Zi Ye shakes his head. "No..it's hard to believe."

"Did she tell you something happen when she read the book?"

"Hm?" He tilts his head a bit. Trying to remember anything that she said last night. "Nothing. She just fell asleep. That's all."

"If you really like that girl then, advice her to not messing around with that book." Zi Yan sips his coffee again.

"But, what exactly happens to prof Cheng Xi before she returned to this world?"

"Hmm...I have no clue." Zi Yan diverts his eyes to the outside of the window glass.

"You can't prove it was the book fault. Maybe she just happens to be sick before she goes there?"

"I don't have any evidence to show you. But if you really care for that girl. You do what you have to do. Don't be like me and regret it later." Zi Yan put a fifty note on the table before he took his suit and leave Zi Ye at the cafe alone.

Sighing, Zi Ye took out his phone. Dialing Ning Zhi's number. Even he is a bit doubtful about his brother story just now, he still wants to make sure Ning Zhi is fine.

A few ringing go through, but no one picks it up. He ended the call and took out his car remote. He drives to her apartment. Luckily he sends her home last night, at least he knows where she lives. But…he don't know her unit number.

"Argh…I must be crazy to do this."

"Ning Zhi!" Rachael runs to her and helps her out of the water.

Yuina and Kyra also helping her changing her clothes. "Oh, dear... lucky you return just like what we hoped." Kyra hugs her shoulder.

"Eh..did I just returned back to my dream?" Ning Zhi rubs her chin a little. This situation seems familiar. These people also seems like they knew her.

"What nonsense are you spewing now, Ning Zhi? You were just here a few days ago. The three of us was thrown to this world, remember?" Rachael furrows her eyebrow a bit.

"Huh? Wait...I'm confused.."

"Hey, talk later. This place is not safe to talk about it. Returned to your room first." Freya suddenly interjects them.

Nod their head, they headed to the bedroom. All the guy already receive the news about her returning.

In the girls' room, they explain things that happen to Ning Zhi once again. Like a baby, she was a bit shocked and turn silent all night. She thought that it was just a dream. But it seems like she really stuck in this world.

Not to mention, she just learned that she is the Phoenix Lady which is predicted to be the greatest weapon for the Garnet Kingdom. Now everything has become messier. Her brain feels like it burns with so many info.

Yuina is the reincarnation of the Red Demon King, while she is the Phoenix creature which is supposed to be the Queen for Garnet King. And with their situation right now, they in the middle of the Peridot Kingdom! Their group consisted of the creatures for three kingdoms (including the Leviara Kingdom) and knowing this, sooner or later they will turn to be an enemy, no?

Ah….her head really can't process anything right now. Why does this thing happen to her? Why not Zhing Li who is more suitable to be a Phoenix Lady than her?

On top of that, she needs to go to magic school tomorrow together with Zoro and Rachael. The unfortunate person who also thrown to this weird world. Poor them. If she can enter and out from this world, then maybe there is a way for them too, right?

The next day,

"We will gather again once we have done our mission," Freya said to all of them after they finish their breakfast.

Today, Rachael, Ning Zhi, and Zoro will attend to Magiya Academy while Freya, Hayden, and Grey will go on a mission at the outside of the castle. They may not return to the castle for a few days until they gain the information they need.

Kyra, Zane, Farrell, and Yuina will stay behind and take care of finding the cure for the queen. They may take a longer time than in Aquamarine's province.

To be separating from Hayden for a long period make Yuina's heart so anxious. However, this mission needs to be done or else they will not have a solution for what will happen in the future. The prediction of the war between all kingdom is near the edge. They need to take action.

Looking at Yuina's face which is gloomy make Hayden pressing his lip together. He went to her and grab her hand gently.

He brings her to the garden outside of the window glass. A bit far from the dining hall. "Are you sure, you're okay without me around you, princess?" He asks her with a mellow voice.

He caresses her cheek and looks into her beautiful eyes. He surely gonna miss her.

Nod her head, she forces a smile on her face. "Mm." Even she tried to hold it, her tears still forming in her eyes

"You didn't sound convincing at all." Hayden chuckles a bit and wipes her tears.

"No..there's a speck of dust inside my eyes." Yuina immediately lowered her head and rub her eyes.

Hug her, he kisses her on top of her head. "Hey.."

"I have something I want you to hold for me. When I return, you have to give it back to me." Hayden breaks the hug and holding his necklace.

Slowly, he took it off and place it on Yuina's neck. "Please take good care of my necklace. This is my precious treasure because it was gifted by my beloved." He slowly kisses on the nape of her neck.

Yuina touches the emerald stone and chuckles after he put it on her neck. "Hm..are you sure you want me to hold your treasure?" She feels her mood a bit amused when Hayden show her his love to her.

"Of course. If not you, then I won't hand it to anyone." He curled up his lips when he saw she was smiling.

"Okay..then, uh.." Yuina took out her red jade which is carved with her name on it. That is the only thing she has that can prove she is the Princess of Zirconia.

Took his hand, she put the jade on his palm. "Take care of this and return it to me when you're back. You have to return it to me no matter what, okay?"

Grasp the jade, he smiles at her, she meant that he needs to return back to her side no matter what it takes. So, of course, he will fulfill her wishes.

"I will return to you, no matter what." He kisses her cheek which already turns red. He wants to kiss her as many times as he can, if possible.

She nods her head and bid him goodbye. But before he turns around, once again Yuina stop him. "Um...Hayden." She tugs her hand on his sleeve making him furrows a bit.

"Hm?"

"Will you be able to keep faithful to me even though you're with her?" She did not look at his eyes. It is so embarrassing to ask him this question even though they still not establish any romantic relationship officially, yet. But, she also did not want her only person who loves her to turn around and loves another woman.

"What makes you think that, princess?" Hayden holds his laugh. Seeing how insecure she is, make him happy. Happy because he knew, she is now slowly opening up her heart to him and ready to have a real relationship with him sooner.

Biting her lower lips, she tries to suppress her embarrassment. "Well..you know..she's really into you. And she's…super hot and tempting."

"My eyes are set for only you. She may be prettier than you but she couldn't replace you in my heart. So, trust me, will you?"
