Ethan frowned at her sudden change of mood.
"Why would Hazel look like a mom to me?" he asked, confusion evident in his eyes.
"Yet I look like a mom, right? Not pretty, tired and falling asleep easily?"
Ethan was able to easily understand what she was saying, and he wondered if it was a result of spending that afternoon with a relationship counselor.
"That is not what I meant, Kera. You looked like a sexy mom, one who wants me to keep pouring the babies into her so I can see that carefree look as many more times as possible. I wish to see you sleep like that every morning and I would have...it's alright. You have work to do," he gestured towards her occupied bedside table and smiled, leaving her alone in the room.
Dejected and not knowing the reason why, she went to continue her work. She had the idea of how the show would go, since that was why she became a reporter in the first place.
