"Adem, Adem! Are you listening to the lecture or not? Stop dozing off!" The rough, elderly man's voice echoed through the classroom, pulling everyone's attention to the sleepy student.
"Umm, yes sir, yes... I-I am paying full attention," Adem stammered, blinking rapidly as he tried to gather his thoughts. He was an ordinary-looking youth with a lanky physique, not used to the sudden attention that made him feel even smaller in his seat.
"Alright, I'll believe you," the man replied, his tone softening just a bit before he resumed the lecture.
"So, as I was saying, when light rays pass from water to air, refraction occurs. This causes the slightly distorted image we see... The light bends towards the normal as it moves from a denser medium to a less dense one..." The lecture continued, drifting in and out of focus for the students in Class 10-A of an average school, in a still-developing country. Yet, while the lesson went on, something far more unusual was happening inside Adem's mind.
'So, just five minutes left until I die, huh?' Adem thought to himself, feeling oddly calm about the situation. 'Well, it's not exactly death as people usually describe it, but... whatever.' He began counting down the seconds, each tick of the clock bringing him closer to the end of his time on Earth.
As two minutes remained until his predicted 'death,' the ground beneath the school began to tremble. Deep beneath the surface, tectonic plates, pressured by thousands—perhaps tens of thousands—of years, finally shifted.
An earthquake struck with devastating force, sending shockwaves through the city. Buildings crumbled, streets cracked open, and the lives of more than a hundred thousand people were claimed in an instant. Just as it had been foretold in the prophecy of a young man—one whose voice had never been heard.

Far above the chaos, in a realm often described as heaven in many of Earth's religions, a solitary entity observed the events with a detached curiosity. This being, hidden behind the veil of reality itself, was the only one who could truly hear Adem's final thoughts.
"Interesting... So, Adem, huh? An intriguing fellow you are," the voice echoed, not just in one world but across many but not heard by anyone. His figure remained concealed by reality's fabric as he shifted his gaze from one world to another, then another, traveling through countless realms across the multiverse.
The entity's eyes scanned thousands of worlds, each with its own unique story, before he finally halted his wandering. A deep silence filled his haven, an eerie stillness that lingered until, after what felt like an eternity, the silence was broken by a single, profound statement: "A cycle of rebirth, with only five minutes in each world... A curse, perhaps, but with the potential to become a blessing."
With that, the entity's hands, which had been motionless for eons, began to move. Each gesture was deliberate, impossibly complex, and far beyond the comprehension of both mortals and immortals alike. His actions set into motion forces that would shape the fate of many worlds, including the one Adem was about to enter.
