Just as Paskha was about to sit cross-legged to concentrate so he could get out of this illusory world, the sand under his feet shook and shifted rapidly. Paskha jumped to avoid the friction but couldn't stand firm as if the world had experienced a great earthquake.

In the next second, Paskha's leg shifted backward… more precisely, sliding down as if gravity was pulling it from behind. He noticed the ground beneath his feet turned sloping, and gradually, his feet shifted backward under the pull of gravity. At the same time, in front of him appeared a mountain from under the ground, and this was the first time Paskha saw a mountain rising to the surface from the desert.
