#Chapter25
The sun climbs up into the bright blue sky, burning down on the men as they make their way through the brush, following the blood spoor, down into another gully, through a small ravine until they come across the area where the big cat took refuge and attended to his wound.
/"David looks like one of us clipped him, but did no real damage, but if you look at the spoor, he’s favoring his left front leg, so that just might slow him down./"
/"Bwana Piet, the bleeding has stopped from his wound, but the spoor is still clear, he is heading towards those foothills./"
/"Kom julle, roer julle gatte, we need to catch up to him before he goes to ground./"
/"Piet, just slow down, remember this is a bloody man-eater, and he’s now wounded on top of that, put that in a mixing bowl and you have a damn scary lion, and most probably really pissed off at the human race right now./"
