"What is it?" Ian asked.

"If the Kaelin family knew that Madeleine had killed her husband, do you think they would still support her?" I remember that night at Madeleine's manor; I heard Madeleine say that she had killed her husband. I believed that was not a lie.

So I told Ian what had happened that night, but Ian seemed in disbelief when he heard it, and it was clear that if it were true, it would be a terrible blow to Madeleine.

"If it's true, I'm sure the Kaelin family will kill Madeleine!" Ian affirmed, "The Kaelin family has always been united. Once outsiders hurt their people, they will never allow that person to live, no matter who!"

"So, how do we inform the Kaelin family about this?" I asked.
