The Cry of the Wolf

Adelaide, a homeschooling mother, had no idea that her life, and those of her children, were about to change when she receives a hand-carved metal necklace from her sister. Without giving the necklace, or the unique pendant, much thought, Adelaide is unaware that the handcrafted necklace is the source of her life-changing journey.

After being transported back to 1600s Canada - a time of tribal warfare and the ever-present danger of disease - history comes to life as Adelaide must survive. Determined to find a way back to the present, Adelaide resists the circumstances she finds herself in. Chief Long Knife, however, has other ideas. The handsome warrior sees his new, instant family in a different light and is determined to win his captive's heart.
