Chapitre 1: THE FUNERAL
"Come on Jane! Run as fast as you can." Arthur gasped.
"No Arthur I can't." Jane is panting.
Arthur lifts her on his back. And both are running towards the lake. The guards are chasing both of them. Arthur and Jane are running, but it is slow and a bit late. The guards caught hold of them. They are taken to the palace.
"Hey, Jack! I'll show you who you are to the world." Arthur cried.
Furious Jack took his sword and drew towards him. But Jane saved Arthur. Her eyes rolled with tears. She fell in the hands of him. The last she heard was Arthur screaming her name. But it sounded like Jessie.
This is the dream of Jessie. She panicked and woke up.
"Calm down girl." Cathy was getting ready for her classes. "Oh! It's a head trip." Jessie is keeping her hands on her head. "Come on babe, just cheer up!" There came Jenny who went to the sports class and came exhausted.
"You will understand when you're in love." Jessie is saying in a grief-stricken state.
"Edward is not gonna come. Just move on champ." Cathy patted Jessie's head.
A few weeks before, Edward and Jessie went on a date night to Blue Jay restaurant. While dropping her off at the house in the car, another car overtook them. "Chase the car." Jessie was crying in excitement. "As you wish Your Highness." Edward adores her. They both laughed at each other and started to chase that car. Then in the signal, Edward and the other car owner started accelerating the car. They started racing. The other car went faster than their car. A kid came in the middle of the road. Edward put on a brake, but the car went out of control. It got turned and hit the pole. Jessie was wearing a seatbelt, so she went with a few scratches. But Edward got hit in the head. From his ears, the blood came and he fainted. There was no breath when Jessie checked.
"Hey, man." It was Daisy with a frowning face. "Have you taken your meds?" Daisy asked. "Nope," Jessie replied. "Tomorrow is your session. Just take your meds, child." Daisy cried. "I need you to be happy every time," she added.
Jessie and Daisy have been best friends since childhood. They support each other when one of them is down. It was Daisy's boyfriend Neo who helped Jessie to go for mental therapy, after the death of Edward. Neo was Edward's cousin.
During the funeral of Edward, his mom cursed Jessie for the cause of his death. Because of the guilt Jessie was going through the mental therapy.
After Jessie took her meds, she was getting ready for classes. Both she and Daisy went to the class for a minute. And the bell rings.
