E/N: Goddamn, put the " ' " in your "yall's".
A/N: No lol
Valier POV:
After my wounds were healed, I looked at my worn and torn body. I had dozens of small scars and a few larger ones. They were lathered across my entire body, however I thankfully had none on my face. Apparently the mages put so much effort into healing my face that they passed out, that was because they supposedly didn't want a mere 13 year old to live with a scarred face.
I was thankful for that as I quite honestly liked how my face looked, I didn't need any scars on it. I got up from the ground and took off the blanket covering me.
I stood up to my full height which was around 170cm (5'7 for schmucks), I'd probably grow to be a giant or something after my growth spurt. I looked at my topless body, it was monstrously built due to the amount of amps that my physique had gotten along with the constant need to fight for my life thing.
I began to perform a few stretches and smiled. I had finally unlocked the ability to circulate Cursed Energy and Mana in tandem. However I doubted I could pull that off again, well not for a while. I honestly don't fully understand or remember how I was able to do it, but I know one thing.
'It felt amazing... It was almost like using Corruption again...'
Unknowingly, a crooked yet genuine smile filled my face. However, soon enough my face returned to its normal, expressionless state. I started stretching.
"You know, you don't have to wait for me to do anything right? Just fucking come out."
Suddenly four people dressed in black came out, they were members of the Empire's Darkness.
"I assume you know who we are, unfortunately we only got here around ten minutes ago. We just have a question, this destruction. Was it truly something you, the young lady of Pendragon, and some general from a weak foreign nation caused?"
"It was, however, Irene and the blonde man did most of the work. Although I passed out after Irene, it was only because I wasn't as tired due to doing way less work. Honestly, I'm weak as shit right now."
I lied, although I was the one who inflicted the most damage on Reinhardt, I didn't want the Empire's Darkness to know of my strength. According to the mages, Irene had lowered her body temperature to the point where she has decreased the blood flow to her brain to a dangerous extent. She would likely struggle to talk for a few hours, struggle to walk for a few days and struggle to use Mana for a week or so.
And she might even suffer from memory loss. That was why they were asking me and not Irene. Ah and although it should be obvious, they already identified me.
I took a look around, the entire place looked like hell, the land had been scorched, frozen, uprooted. Vegetation was no longer a concept that existed in the place we fought. Suddenly, the castle was sliced in half and a huge pulling force nearly made me fall. However, I caught myself and stood up.
"Anyone got a cigarette?"
I wanted a smoke, I had quit a few years before dying due to my addiction interfering with my battle prowess. It got to the point where I couldn't fight without a smoke. However it had been around six years since I stopped smoking, since I stopped at around fourteen and since I reincarnated here when I was around eight. But I was craving one after such a hard fight.
"Smoking is ille-"
One of the Shadows began to say, ah, and for reference, a person belonging to the Empire's Darkness is known as a Shadow. But anyways, another shadow pulled out a box, but after feeling the glare of a different Shadow they put it away rather quickly.
"As I was saying, smoking and drinking are illegal for children under sixteen. And habits like smoking aren't good even when you're older, honestly, where did your parents go wrong with raising you?"
Her voice was that of a woman's, and annoying at that.
My face stiffened when she mentioned parents. I didn't fully remember my actual parents, be it due to reincarnation or just not caring enough to remember. But all I remember is that I was raised to be a weapon at around four, five, or six. So like I said, I honestly didn't care about my parents and shit, but Valier's parents were both dead, so if he didn't get annoyed at their mentioning it'd be a bit odd.
'From here on out, I need to perfect my acting, I kind of want to have a decent academy life. And there's always Artorius Astedalle, the Protagonist, a being who could only use Holy Attribute Magic. Of course most of the Protagonist's party, my sisters included, did have the capability to use it. However his Holy Magic was in an entirely different realm compared to the regular stuff, it purified existence. Even a God's divinity wasn't as pure as the stuff he poured out. And his Mana Capacity was... mouth watering."
"Guess I shouldn't have said that, maybe you should just give him the cigarette?"
I was handed a cigarette, so I used my Dark Flames to set it alight. I brought it to my mouth and took in the smoke, holding it in my mouth for a moment before inhaling it into my lungs and breathing it out.
"Man that feels good, these are pretty fucking good as well, must've been expensive."
With that, I tapped on the cigarette to get rid of the ashes that had built up and I repeated the process once more. As I was enjoying the cigarette, I saw the Sword Saint exit the remains of the castle.
"Damn, she's scarily strong."
"As is every Saint, they're all capable of toppling nations if they put their minds to it."
"I see."
With her face covered in blood, her clothes soaked in crimson, and the half torn up face of what I could only assume to be the Queen of Brittannia. She walked towards us, the castles remains behind her and the wind making her hair gently sway.
"This was a bit of a pain in the ass."
"Shadows, I assume this is proof enough that she's dead. Actually, considering her ability, she might actually be alive... well whatever, I have her head now, so piss off."
She threw the head with such force that, when one of the Shadows caught it, another had to go behind them to stop them from being sent flying. The Shadow who received the head collapsed to his knees and clutched his body.
"Anyways, snowflake come here."
I looked at the Saint in confusion, was she mocking me? I used flash step and closed the distance between us, however when I arrived at where she was, she was already behind me and conversing with the Shadows.
Or rather, that's what would've happened if I made a move. But I did not have the balls to anger a Saint, or to show aggression to them. I slowly walked over to her while gritting my teeth.
"What do you need?"
"Fill me in on the fight between you and the other guy, and how did he get away. Judging from your conditions and the surrounding area, I'm sure he was close to dying."
And so I told her about everything, of course, I told her about how I did jackshit. But that was so she didn't think I was strong, I was honestly tired of living with the burden known as superiority.
"From today on, I'll be your average thirteen year old..."
I used a Dark Flame to burn the cigarette out of my hands and sat down beside Irene. I used my Weapon Creation to create a black top.
