John deposited her in the bed gently, he planted a kiss on her lips and wrapped a blanket around her body. He exited the room and went back downstairs to pick up the flowers that Catherine had dropped while they were having impromptu sex in the stairs earlier, he grinned broadly. He will let her rest first to regain her strength cause he will devour her body again later. He is not done with her yet.

What happened between them earlier was just an appetizer! he chuckled to himself.

A smirk lingered on his lips while picking up her bathrobe and the bouquet of flowers in the ground then he climbs back the stairs to have a rest beside her in the bed.

Catherine was sleeping soundly beside him, John stared lovingly at her profile. He loves staring at her well-defined eyebrows, her deep-seated expressive eyes, her cute nose, and her kissable lips. He runs his fingers on his silky long brown hair. He planted a kiss on her lips and embraced her from behind spooning her.
