James was mature for his age and soft-spoken. His mature air made him feel different from other kids. Maybe that was why this kid did not feel much like a kid to her.
Anabella felt like the kid would understand what she was saying, and then she remembered that the person she was looking toward was a kid no older than six.
It made her feel agitated and ashamed for taking advantage of the kid and his innocence.
*Cough*
"Well, I am fine and don't resent your father. If that was all you wanted to ask, you got your answer already."
Anabella did not have a better way to tell the kid that she did not hate his father, but she did not want to think about it.
She felt she might change her mind if she pressured herself more.
"O-Oh! I see. In that case, I should take my leave now. It looks like you need your rest."
