Chapitre 38: Locked Away

Several hours later, Emilia wakes up on a cold cement floor. She looks around and notices that she's in some sort of cage in what looks to be someone's basement. Rather than allowing panic to set in, she silently sits up and tries to recall her last memory. 'There was some kind of fight…then Jak was bleeding so I tried to help him…JAK!' Suddenly everything comes flooding back into her mind. The recon mission, the bears and wolves attacking, and Jak's betrayal. She looks down at her ribs and sees bandages wrapped tightly around her chest. She tries to force herself to stand and get a better vantage point.
