Chapitre 49: Someone Rescued Her
Mia got up from the ground with blood flowing out of the wound on her forehead and rushed toward the spirits. One after another she killed many of them.
"Mia, don't push yourself hard. Stop it", Hao who was inside the shield protecting the stone shouted.
She ignored him and kept fighting. The spirits were still in a great amount. A giant spirit came and hit her. She fell to the ground and threw up blood.
"Ahhh... ", she was in pain.
All the spirits rushed towards her and she was covered by them. She tried her best to escape them but was heavily injured.
She growled in anger and pain, "Now, you left no other choice."
Rays of light came out from the group of spirits that had surrounded Mia and they all fell apart. There was a huge beam of light and when the light disappeared Mia was in the air. Wearing Red armor, her hair was tied up in a ponytail and different elements were flowing around her.
"Miaaaa... Why must you harm yourself...", Hao screamed.
The spirits slowly got up and were about to rush toward her. She opened her eyes. They had turned red from brown. A sword appeared in her hands and all the elements flowing around her rushed into it. She moved in a circle with the sword. It looked like a fairy dancing in the sky.
The moment she stopped moving all the spirits disappeared. Mia was breathing heavily and her eyes closed.
She was about to fall when a man in a black cloak rushed towards her.

Lin was still having the pain in his chest but he kept on trying to enter the sealed island.
"Now, only one way is left. I am sorry Mia", he took out a white jade.
He entered the seal without any difficulty. After entering the island he rushed towards the Conference building.
"Master...", Feng rushed toward him.
He turned around to look at him.
"*breathing heavily*Master, though you had entered the island but please don't do something that Her Highness would not allow."
Lin put his hand on Feng's shoulder, "My disciple thank you for trusting your master. I won't break your trust I promise."
Lin's POV
I entered the instrument room and lit up the lights with my spell. I began to search for the flower crystal. I checked the entire room but was not able to find it. I went close to the wall to look there for the flower crystal.
"There it is", I happily went there to take it.
I grabbed it up and turned around, "Now, I should find her."
"Lin Yang, she is safe...", A voice came from my back.
I turned around and saw the huge summoning mirror. A slight shadow appeared. Then a man appeared. He seemed to be somewhere in his fifties or sixties. There was a calm look on his face.
"Are you the half part of the evil spirit that Mia told me about? How do you know she is safe?", I asked him curiously.
He smiled, "You are indeed right. Unluckily, I am the other half whose core resides in Mia's body. As for how I know about her is because my core is inside her. Won't that mean that almost she is like my body? A while ago, when she was severely injured she activated her powers and got rid of those spirits. Because of the core inside her, she can't activate her powers. Activating her powers means death."
The word death made my skin crawl. I hesitated, "But you said she is safe. Then how can you say that activating powers can kill her?"
He chuckled, "Young man, don't be worried. When she killed the spirits, she almost died but then someone came and rescued her."
I was happy to hear that she was safe but bothered as well, "Who rescued her? Was it Liam by any chance?"
"Well, I can't tell you too much but the person seems very powerful and is acquainted with Mia. Mia would not like it if I give away too much information. Now I should leave", with those words he disappeared.
"Wait...", I called him out but he disappeared.
Even if someone had found and rescued her still I can't leave her like that. I can't believe a strange spirit's words.
I put the flower crystal on a nearby table and began to use spells. After a while, it started to shine. I put my hand on it and closed my eyes.
I saw different glimpses. First I saw Mia, then there was wind, then water and then a lively forest. I opened my eyes.
"What do these glimpses mean?", I was confused by those glimpses.
I used my spells again on it and got the same result, "What should I do now?"
I began to look around and then saw a corner where a bookshelf was placed with many books.
"Books, let me see through them", I went to the bookshelf.
There was a strange script on them. When I touched one of them all of their's script changed. Before it was a strange script and now there was a mixture of Chinese and English along with some numbers. But they didn't make any word if read.
"*yawn* Do you want to read a book?", a small spirit in the form of a sparrow appeared.
"Yes, but who are you?", I asked it.
It flew around the books, "I am the Magical books guard. Her Highness Mia, assigned me to protect these books. If you want to read any of them then you should solve the puzzle. When a person touches the book then its script will turn into a jumbled form of the languages that the person knows. The real script of the books is an ancient script that hardly anyone knows. Once a person solves the puzzle he can read the book in the script that he knows."
I was now stuck in a great problem, "But you should let me read them. I need to protect Her Highness. Please, I have no time to waste."
The spirit laughed, "I look like a little bird but my intelligence is more. then your imagination. Let me tell you a secret."
It pointed its wing towards the center of the room where a small lamp was hung, "As long as the lamp shines, Her Highness is alive."
