Chapitre 29: Manipulating the Whole Scenario

Getting a resounding and painful slap on the face woke the store manager from her delusions.

She no longer considered Emma and her other two friends as someone who was still young and immature. They were nothing but lawless people!

"You slapped me?" the store manager held one side of her face with her hand and glared at Sophie.

Sophie was slightly surprised when another person suddenly appeared to stop them. Why did she come here?

But instead of feeling apologetic for slapping the store manager, Sophia was enraged by the glare she got from the former.

"Yes, I did! What are you going to do about it?" Sophie replied, proud of herself.

The store manager scoffed. She repeated Sophie's question, "What am I going to do about it?"

Suddenly, Emma had an odd premonition. But she couldn't tell what it was. She was still bathing in the glow of pleasure in looking down at someone who was below her station.
