Chapitre 15: A Future With Her

Mr. Leblanc leaned back in his chair and nodded. "On the day she fell, I asked Yvonne what happened. As her father, I had to know what exactly happened to my daughter. Yvonne hesitated at first, but she told me that it was your wife who pushed her from the stairs."

When the accident happened, Mr. Leblanc was on his way to the airport. He turned back immediately and questioned his daughter about what had happened.

Yvonne did not confess to anything. It hurt Mr. Leblanc to see his daughter protecting the criminal who had done this to her, and it angered him that his gentle and honest little girl learned how to lie!

So, he threatened Yvonne that he would send her to another country if she still didn't tell him the truth.

In the end, she finally told him the truth!

"Landon, you've known Yvonne since you were a child. She would never lie!" Mr. Leblanc reminded him that Yvonne was not just someone but the girl he had known for a long time.
