I pulled back, but she grabbed my arm, stopping me. "Where are you going? You...you don't want me anymore? Is that it?" She sounded almost like she could break down, depending on what I gave as an answer.

But she got it all wrong. Oh, god, I wanted Harley so much, I didn't think she would be able to swallow the length of it if she truly knew. 

"I will never not want you, Harley. Fuck, if you know how much I intend to break you, you would never think this." 

"Then…then why?" 

"You can't...not with me," I managed, swallowing the lump in my throat. "I'm sure you would want to do this with someone you love, not with me." 

"Does it matter?" Harley asked desperately. "W-what if I do love you?" 

"Your desire is messing with your head." 

"But I don't want anyone else." She shook her head at me, so vulnerable in a way I have only ever glimpsed that night. "Or do you want someone else to do it with—"
