Chapitre 9: It Seems Like You are Doing Well

Eve smiles seeing how her skills still isnt getting rusty even after not using for a few lifetimes in this fabricated world. She plugs in a 1 terabyte memory drive to recorded and save the whole scene but before she could have plug into the USB hub, she saw movements from the screen and she looks back to the image of Diana standing and looking like she was holding Ethans sleeves.

There was only two CCTV pointing at the direction where Diana's table was, she looked scared judging from her body language. Molina raises a brow and decided to forget about recording the whole thing, she zooms in and tried to find any abnormalities in their interactions.

From what Eve remembers from Molina's memories, Alexander and Diana had a good relationship and never had any conflict. The older man would even provide for the young Graham of whatever she would ask.

So what is going on in B City?

Was this the result of Molina's past actions?

But this was too unreal?

Eve watches as Alexander had a frown on his face the whole time and kept checking on his phone, Ethan and Diana's back was facing Camera 4 and only Alexander's face was shown as he was sitting in front of the two. Camera 3 showed Alexander's back and a few tables from their own, so it wasn't clear what Ethan and Diana looked like as they conversed.

From time to time, it looked like Alexander would sigh judging from how his mouth would move and he was either speaking less or wouldn't listen to the two companions of his.

Eve was puzzled seeing them, even if she were to interfer, these characters were just random data made by the New World Order. They would continue to follow most of their character settings and wouldn't stray further from their own designs.

" Did the system reboot affected the character settings? " Eve wonder, she watch as Alexander's figure in the screen stood and walked away from the table. Since the CCTV the Cafe has doesn't have any audio system hooked up in the device, Eve didn't get to know what the three were talking.

She looks at the two who were left with dejected figures, Ethan looked like he was comforting the young woman with a sweet hug. Eve cold only watch and gather nothing from the interaction with Alexander and Diana.

She close her eyes think carefully, trying to remember from Molina's past memories, searching for any slight conflict or even small misunderstandings between Diana's biggest supporter and Diana. Eve tried and tried but got nothing, zero image of any of their conflicts or whatsoever.

Eve opens her eyes and looks at the screen, looks like Ethan and Diana were talking so intimidately that Eve didn't want to see what was going on with her Stepsiblings relationship. She already know too much thanks to Molina's memories, she didn't want anymore information than that.

She erased her traces of eavesdropping on the network and closes her PC, while doing it, her mind wanders to Alexander.

" It's probably a slight hiccup in the system, i can't let my guard down even if his on another county" she says, knowing how far and wide Alexander's networks and connection is in the countries. Even in N country, Eve plans to disguise herself whenever she goes out. Who knows if Alexander or Hubert might have also tracked her down, Eve did make a scene during the party to end up being a "disgrace" of the family.

"Let's focus on making Molina climb to her success and earn lots of wealth" because only that way, Eve would be reassured that Molina wouldnt be touched so easily by the Grahams nor the Millers, she climbs her bed and slept.

Jet lagged and tired from the preparations of her departure to another county, she finally had a decent sleep after that tiring night.

For the past few months after, Eve had manage to erase her tracks, the last thing people might see if they invested in finding her would be her flight to N Country. She doesn't worry about that when the countries population were full of immigrants and travelers all year round.

Learning their language wasn't hard for Eve when all she does was sat in front of the computer to join world trades and had a book on one hand to read on learning the people's language of the said land.

In the first year she had been in N country, Eve had slept in the mornings and work on monitoring Diana and Alexander's move at night, while she checked on her past investments and manage to become a major shareholder on one of the biggest popular software in this world.

After seeing Diana and Alexander had not been in contact after that time in the cafe, except for when Alexander manage to be in Grahams company for business deals and would exchange formalities with Diana, it seems to Eve that she didn't have to keep an eye with their interactions.

So Eve focused on investing and eventually become one of the largest individuals shareholder of the multinational technology company, Dimension.

After she invested on lands, apartments, villa's and condominiums and resorts, she was planning to invest on Hotel chains that were gaining huge profit but knowing M Groups president Alexander Miller had a lot of people working on the hotel and service industry, she decides to disregard the idea.

Eve comes out of her apartment whenever she was needed to present herself in the company as a shareholder or just out to go get groceries. She didn't have the luxury to enjoy the world's design.

In the past worlds, all she does is make sure the wolrd progress reached to 100% and she could finally leave to the next one. She had no time to relax when all she was doing was worry on any sudden task might pop out of the system, and every time she finished a world, she had no time even collect her thoughts and rest.

Eve would leave one wolrd and then was sent to the other one the next second.

It was tiring and starting to dampened her mood in every world. The new world order really wants her to go mad and lose her sanity.

" Too bad I'm stubborn as a bull " Eve says to herself as she grabs two cartons of milk and placed it on her cart.

She grocery shopping in the nearest Mall for her weeks consumption, after being in N country for three years, she could confidently say she won't be lost without using the GPS anymore.

Eve pushes the cart filled with different products and bosexs to the other isle. Her eyes wander to the row of shelves as she passes by other customers and workers, it was a lively time of the year when the weather has turn cold and snow starts to pile up outside the roads and building, turning the world into a soft white blanket.

She had looked outside of the glass wall of the mall's grocery store to see the people walking on the side walk and the cars passing by one after another.

Eve was wearing a simple white shirt and brown large tranchcoat to protect from the cold, a dark skinny Jean's and brown winter boots to matched. She retracts her gaze from the view outside the window and takes out her phone, before pushing her cart again.

Her golden eyes casted down to look at her grocery list written down on her memo app, she heads to the last isle where there were less customers around. She ignores the stolen glances from the men on some isle and turn to a corner, not even surprised as she stops walking when a person blocks her way.

Eve looks up and didn't show any hints of surprise, she did expected for this to happen.

" It seems that you were doing well Molina " The man wore a smile on his face and stood with both hands inside his pockets, he stood there in the middle of empty isle there as if he was waiting for her to appear in the corner.

The mall music played in the background as Alexander gave her a warm smile, the distance between them didn't stop him from not touching her head.

He reach out and brushed off her hair and tilts his head slightly to look at her face clearly. Dark eyes full of warmth even with the cold color.

Molina stood there and watches him as he does what he wants, she didn't look at him like how she did when they first met. She even smiles at him and accepted the intimate action without any problem.

Alexander slowly retrieves his hand and place it back in his coat pocket.

" It's been a while, how have you been? " he continued, and followed as Molina walks into the way to grab a few cleaning materials.
