Synopsis
I probably should have seen it coming. On that accursed blessing ceremony, the fake smiles of those who came. The malice in the eyes of those who wished us well.
Alas, I was young back then. White light filled the hall as my blessing was given, indication of a blessing of high caliber. It should have been a cause for celebration. Yet it was the nail in the coffin for my family. All of them died that day. Victims of what will be known as a heretical bombing, but I knew better.
