An average-looking man stood before the Jury holding a baby in his arms. By his side were two other children who were throwing longing gazes towards their mother. On the other part of the room, the mother was in silent tears.

From the gasps that echo in the room, the audience could tell that she was trying hard to keep her sobs in. Maimuna watched in silence her heart filled with despair. Despair for the little child who has been deprived of his mother's love and warmth out of his father's selfishness.

She felt her heartache for her innocent self a few years ago. This was also her state. Even so, she managed to maintain the stoic look on her face. Malik's watched her from the corner of his eyes. He was doubting himself.
