Zarmade leaves the apartment to take a few minutes to gather his thoughts. He's across the street, sitting on a bench, and I'm watching from the window to make sure he won't bolt. I haven't come this far for him to run away after knowing I exist.

Cera walks up next to me and looks out the window too. His hand rests in the middle of my back, and he slowly scratches me with a gentle touch. 

"That's really helping..."

I need to relax a little, and Cera is doing a good job helping with that. A smile graces his lips, and he leans over to kiss the side of my head.
