"Get some rest, Tessa." He ignored her request, acting as if she was not thinking clearly.
"I am serious here, Elias. Reject me now and set me free. I am now useless in this castle, but I refuse to remain mated to you. At the very least, I can move on and find a man who does not want children," she said, having no other options at the time.
"The doctor said it was a risky chance, but he never said you could not give birth." He clarified but it didn't make things better.
"What difference does it make? You already have Alice to bear you an heir, so why would I stay if that is the only reason you wanted me?" She questioned.
