"She is pregnant." The healer that Ian found, confirmed Elder Rose's suspicion about the change on Abby's body. This was the last nail in the coffin for the Serafim, even Ian was shocked when he learned about this. 

"You can leave," Elder Rose said, dismissed the healer from the room. "No. You stay. There are questions I need to ask you."

Ian was about to leave with the healer too when the elder told him to stay behind. Obediently, he stood in his place, he felt complicated when he saw the Serafim. 

"No one knew about me calling for the healer?" Elder Rose asked Ian, making sure he knew this was not something that he could talk to other recklessly. 

"Yes, Elder Rose. I was very careful when I look for the healer," he replied firmly, but he was not very secretive if the news about it already reached Iris without them knowing it.
