Iris stared at the hand that was extended to her and took it, while Lady Cyan held her hand firmly. It was so firm, until she frowned when she felt the strength behind it. She didn't need to hold her hand this strong, as if she was going to run away or something.

Yet, Iris said nothing, as she stared at lady Cyan, but she was smiling at her, not feeling weird about the way she grabbed her hand.

Right at that time, Cane finished talking with Koda, as both of them walked over to Lady Cyan and Iris. The Alpha glanced at their hands, but said nothing about it.

"Alpha Derick has headed to the Crown Prince's bedroom with my gamma," Cane informed Lady Cyan.

This time, the King didn't come with them and Lady Cyan was in charge of overseeing the investigation so it could run smoothly and fairly.
