My mind link was turned off as soon as a blade man appeared in front of the dungeon with his companions. They were here to take me out to kill according to Duncan's order.

The tall men and guards all came inside one by one. After one of them unlocked my chain, I pulled my last attempt to put some sense in their heads, 

" You are making a mistake! Duncan was never your king! I am the true heir of this empire!"

The commander-in-chief stayed tongue-tied but my words evoked some complex emotions in his features. They dragged me outside silently without saying a word.

Outside, Duncan set up a stage in an open courtyard. His peasants were all surrounding the space. Some of them looked shocked when they saw my arrival. I faintly heard someone saying in a surprising voice,

" It's really...the Princess...She is... indeed..."
