Chapitre 13: How Strong Am I?
It was quite a scene I witnessed; the trees in this barren forest were nowhere comparable to the trees I've seen back on the floating islands.

I have been walking for several minutes now, but there seems to be no end to this place. I guess it's pretty vast for a dying forest. The leaves of the trees were turning dark rather than green, and even the ground had cracks, ruining the soil of the land.
And the Detection Skill was solely for Grand to use, Since I can't directly use it without Grand. It is said that it can detect any lifeform that is within its fifteen-meter radius.
"Is this forest cursed? I've never seen a forest such as this even in my previous world." I mumbled, walking straight through the pathway while looking around my surroundings.
"Well, who cares? It's not like I'm going to stay in here anyway." I uttered, shrugging my shoulders as if this didn't concern me.
Time has passed, and I've traveled for more than an hour. After walking nonchalantly, I've never encountered any monsters, not even bugs.
I doubted that a forest like this would have monsters roaming around freely, but contrary to my expectations, none were seen.
As I got bored, I opened my status and somehow wanted to know why I became a Dragonoid instead of a human.
It even gave me some buffs—overpowered ones, to be exact.
Just as I wondered, I asked Grand about it.
"Hey Grand, do you know anything about why I became a dragonoid instead of a human?"
[Answer: Yes, I do know to some extent after I did some analyzing.]
"Then can you explain it to me?"
[Yes, after you ate the Dragon's heart, your race as a human has been altered into a Dragonoid.]
"Dragon's heart? I never ate such a thing!"
[Dragon's heart was the small sphere soaked in red aura that the Obsidian Dragon Greyskim gave to you.]
"Oh, so that was a Dragon's heart? It sure was small as hell."
[Correct, dragons have small hearts. Therefore, they are hard to kill since locating their hearts is bothersome.]
[And in addition, they can move their hearts inside their bodies, reform their insides, and hide each heart they possess.]
"Each heart? Don't tell me..."
[Yes, they have seven hearts in total.]
"So killing them would be really hard if they have seven hearts, right?"
[Yes.]
[Once a Dragon becomes heavily wounded, up to the point that its body is ruined and dead. One of its hearts will explode and regenerate its body back, completely resurrecting the dead Dragon back to life.]
"What the fuck? So you mean that they have extra lives!" I shouted abruptly after hearing what Grand said.
What Grand said was totally cheating. Having seven lives that can resurrect your body even if you die is surely remarkable. So does this mean Teranium is still alive?" I wondered, wearing an anxious expression.
[Answer: Yes, they have extra lives. And Teranium, who was killed by the skill, "Instant Incinerate" cannot be resurrected anymore.]
But the thought that Greyskim might still be alive relieved me quite a bit, and so Grand continued explaining.
[Instant Incinerate has the ability to go beyond the laws of this world, even surpassing the capabilities of Celestial beings such as Dragons.]
[That is why "Instant Incinerate" is forbidden to be used. And has dangerous drawbacks.]
"You mean by losing five years of life span, right?"
[Yes, but the more you use it, the more the compensation grows.]
"And so, I'll get older quickly if I use it countless times?"
[Answer: Yes, But now that you have become a Dragon fledgeling, A dragonoid, Your life span has been increased, and you can now live longer than any human could possibly wish.]
"Wait? So you know how many years I'll live? Is it possible to know? Do you also do clairvoyance?"
[I am Grand, A system designed to assist the host in any way possible. Therefore, Basic analysis and calculations of my Host's existence are necessary things for me to do.]
[And yes, I know how many years you'd live as a human being. Excluding fate interventions, I can calculate and analyze a Human's life span.]
[Now that you have turned into a Dragonoid, Your current life span has increased tenfold.]
"Eh? Tenfold? But it's truly shocking to know that you can somehow calculate and analyze a human's life span."
[Yes, tenfold. Meaning you can live up to 1,000 years. Since humans have the life span of 100 years.]
"Woah, living up to 1,000 years sounds like no joke to me."
[I am not joking, for I do not have any sense of humor.]
"Yeah I know, but what about these three buffs of the Dragonoid Race? Dragon tongue, Enhanced Dragonoid Skin, and +50% Ultimate defense exoskeleton?"
[Dragon Tongue is a skill that allows you to order inferior beings and suppress them with mere words.]
[Enhanced Dragonoid Skin grants you a multi-layered skin that cannot be easily penetrated. It also boosts your overall prowess.]
[+50% Ultimate Defense Exoskeleton will greatly increase your body's defense capabilities.]
"Woah, Dragon Tongue is quite good, but the last two are more outstanding. In any case, I'm practically invincible right now, right?"
[Yes, more or less to say, If you do not encounter celestial-level beings, you will not die.]
"So Celestial beings such as dragons' are the ones that I should avoid. Okay, I got it. Thanks, Grand." I said, wearing a satisfied smile in my face.
Knowing how powerful I am right now seems unrealistic. But the fact that I'm inside another world is what makes it comprehensible.
Now, I should focus and look for some nearby places. I'm kind of feeling hungry right now.
And so I ventured through the dying forest with haste and searched everywhere, hoping to pass by an individual who might know something about this world.
Since I was pretty sure that I'd finally arrived at the surface.
And after several hours of traveling, I finally reached a part where the trees were getting better.
The grass on the ground somehow looked healthy, while the trees had green leaves.
And the dimmed sky somehow turn bright, as if it was only night inside the dying forest's boundaries.
And from that point on, I encountered a monster.

[A monster has been detected.]
I ran through the trees and saw the monster that Grand had detected.
[Analyzing...]
It had the appearance of a Red bull with three horns similar to those of a triceratops, while its body was very muscular and had two tails that were ignited with flames.
"Woah, that looks tough." I mumbled, astonished by its unique appearance.

[Monster Trait: Aggressive and can use low-level fire magic]
"Eh?" I muttered after seeing its data.
The size of it was bigger than me, but its rank and level are nowhere near what I'd expected them to be.
"Are you sure about your analysis, Grand?" I asked through thought communication.
[Answer: Yes, my analyses are always precise and accurate.]
"Eh? But how is that thing weak?"
[It is due to its genes as a monster.]
"But the monsters back on the floating island weren't like this."
[Heavenly monsters are far superior to normal monsters.]
While I had a casual talk with Grand, the bull noticed my existence and instantly rushed towards me with its head ready to strike me.
But just as it came close, I reached out my hand up front and tried using my bare hands to stop the Flaming Bull's attack.
Smoke occurred after the collision, and I was totally shocked.
The Flame bull that had tried to strike me with its head was unable to budge through my hand.
I realized that my strength was extremely inhuman, surpassing beyond human capabilities thanks to the system and the buffs I've gained after becoming a Dragonoid.
The Flaming bull that still tried to push me was somehow starting to look anxious in my eyes.
"Eh? Is this bull sweating?" I muttered, standing at my spot while my hand was grabbing its head.
The Flaming bull's face was profusely sweating while gazing at me in an intimidated way.
I smirked and uttered
"Well, I guess monsters can feel fear too."
I smiled mischievously, while the Flaming Bull turned pale, looking at my seemingly horrifying expression.
