Chapitre 12: Born!
Zeke went to the enclosed spacious garden and took out the 50 battle puppets. He designed them to be all females. Each of them is a beauty but not on the same level as Eliza and the girls.
Next was to test their strength. Each came with a default blade.
"Attack me!"
The battle puppets all rushed toward him with their blades.
With his new physique and skills, he could easily dodge the attacks.
Zeke then counter-attacked.
Their individual strength is only double that of an adult male human. But, due to their top-notch coordination, if all 50 of them went all out, even Zeke would have a hard time defeating them.
Defeating them is one thing, but killing them is another. It doesn't matter if they lose any limbs or blood. Since they are puppets, they can regenerate by spending a little bit of tap points.
"Not bad," Zeke said as he wiped the dust off his hand.
"They'll definitely need some more upgrades if I'm going to use them as my security."
Zeke then bought bulletproof shirts for each of them, along with pistols and enough rounds.
Then finally, a mask for each of them.
Their identities do not exist in the government records, so it would be troublesome if they were investigated.
He named them each from one to fifty.
"You guys are now considered my walls, the protectors of my business empire! You are the best of the best."
The five ladies would be considered his sword and shield.
Zeke was very satisfied. He put them in storage and went online to finally search for a capable manager for his business.
Zeke began searching.
He wanted someone who could run the company efficiently.
He looked at each of the candidates' profiles.
He couldn't find anyone who met his requirements.
He then thought of Heidi. She was considered a business prodigy, but that doesn't equate to experience.
Left with no choice, he simply made an advertisement for the open position.
'Hopefully, someone competent will apply'
Zeke didn't have high hopes.
He continued browsing the internet, trying to find something interesting.
'Nothing'
He was bored so he decided to do some more tapping. The next threshold was 400,000 points. So he had to tap 200,000 more.
It only took him about two hours to complete.

"Hm? No other rewards this time? Oh well," Zeke didn't really care because he was drooling as he looked at his bank account.
"Holy fuck"
'So this is how it feels to be rich. Amazing'
Zeke couldn't help but laugh.
'This is truly a great feeling'
He then transferred half the money into his savings.
'I wonder what I should buy next'
Zeke was thinking of what to buy.
'I'll have to buy a helicopter soon'
'But I have no idea how to fly one'
'Maybe I should buy a pilot license along with the flying mastery'
'That's a good idea'
Zeke didn't notice it but it was already afternoon when he heard a car pulling up.
'That should be Eliza'
Zeke went outside and saw Eliza and Angel walking around the villa.
"Wow! Eliza this place is huge! Your man is too rich!" Angel was shocked to the core. Her family was only a little bit wealthy, with a few small businesses. Buying a villa in the outer circle would be too hard on them.
'First, it was the car, now it's her house that's too awesome!' She couldn't help but feel a little bit of jealousy.
'No! I shouldn't think that way! I should be happy for her!' She thought.
Zeke was able to read all of her thoughts. His impression of her increased.
"Hey, Zeke"
"Angel, how are you?"
"I'm good, thanks." Angel smiled.
"That's good to hear."
"I'm so tired, let's go inside," Eliza said.
"Okay"
They went inside and sat on the couch.
"So, how was your day?" Zeke asked Eliza.
"It was great, I had a lot of fun with Angel."
The three of them talked as if the event had already been forgotten.
"Angel, want to stay for dinner?" Eliza asked.
"Sure, I'd love to!"
"Great, I'll go prepare it."
"I'll help you," Angel said.
The two of them went to the kitchen.
Zeke waited for about an hour before the dishes were finally made.
"It smells amazing!" Zeke praised.
"Angel did most of the work!" Eliza said.
"Mhm, my family runs a few restaurants, so I was able to learn a few recipes!" Angel admitted.
The three of them ate a delicious meal.
Angel left after dinner, and the couple simply watched a movie on the couch.
One thing led to another, and the night became passionate as the moon shined through the night.
// A few days later //
Zeke was going through the applications that he received for the manager position. There were too many applicants. As he was going through it, He noticed a familiar name.
'Ava Armstrong? She applied?'
Ava didn't really say a lot the day they met.
After browsing through her application, Zeke made a decision. He chose Ava. The reason was simple.
'Her resume is outstanding, and her experience is vast. She's already managed multiple companies on her own but it seems she wants a bigger stage.'
Zeke called Ava.
Inside the business center, Ava was currently having a meeting.
She was listening to a presentation for a new project when she felt her phone vibrating.
It was a new number.
'Who could it be? Did someone leak my personal number?' Ava was confused.
'Wait! Could it be him?' Ava suddenly remembered. She saw Zeke's advertisement for a position a few days ago.
At the time, she remembered that Zeke was the owner of the entire building that her company was in. That day, she decided that she was willing to abandon her current position to reach a much bigger stage. She thought 'To be able to own this very building meant a vast wealth and a deep background'
'Maybe he's calling about that?' Ava excused herself and left.
"Hello?" She answered the phone.
"Hey, Ava, it's Zeke."
"Oh, hi!" Ava was very excited and her voice reflected that.
"Meet me at the rooftop right now," Zeke said before hanging up.
Ava was confused.
'Rooftop? What's going on?'
Ava was nervous as she waited in front of the elevator. She kept on thinking about all the possible things that could happen.
She went to the top floor and arrived at the rooftop.
'Hm? There's no one here'
"Hey, Ava," Zeke said as he suddenly appeared behind her.
"Ah, Zeke!" Ava was shocked and almost fell.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to surprise you," Zeke apologized.
"It's fine, don't worry about it," Ava said as she regained her composure.
"Let's talk, shall we?" Zeke said as he led her to the rail.
"Zeke, is there a reason why you called me out here?"
"Indeed. I wanted to see the candidate who was brave enough to apply. Especially when it's me who's looking for the position."
Ava nodded.
"One more thing. Your reason was very vague and I think there's more to it. Why do you really want to work for me?" Zeke asked bluntly.
Ava paused and hesitated for a moment. She had to tell him.
"As the daughter of a business family, I am merely regarded as a tool. I want to prove my worth and show them that I am more than a tool. I want to work for you because I feel like you are the only one who can give me that opportunity. Please accept me, I'll work hard and make you proud!"
Ava said in a determined tone.
Zeke said nothing as he stared into the horizon.
Ava's heart was beating at a rapid pace at the moment.
The whole time Ava was explaining, he was also reading her thoughts. 'It looks like she isn't lying and her situation seems more complicated than she explained'
"If you're willing to work under me, then you have to prepare yourself. This decision of yours today will be the greatest decision you have ever made."
Ava was surprised. 'Such a bold statement'
"This building that we are standing on right now will be the headquarters of my business empire. You will help me connect my current and future companies with the mother company, Z-Tech Inc."
"Yes! I'll do my best!" Ava was elated. She couldn't help but stare at him with admiration. 'I'm really looking forward to the future!'
Zeke handed her a card connected to One Bank.
"This card is connected to the company's funds. You are authorized to spend and do whatever you want for the company."
"Thank you, sir," Ava said.
"Just call me Zeke, Ava," Zeke said.
"Then please address me as Ava"
"Alright. From now on, you are officially the head of Z-Tech company. I'll simply be the owner in the shadows."
After their meeting, Ava began starting up the company. She registered the company and now Z-Tech Inc. was officially born!
Right now, Ava is going through all the lists of properties that Zeke sent.
"New Town Mall, The Peninsula Hotel, Rocket Race Track, Sky High Private Airport, One Bank, and lastly, Aurus Garden Villa Complex! Holy shit! These are the top businesses of the entire city!" Ava was once again shocked to the core.
"And these all belong to him! Not his family!" Ava then began to believe Zeke's words even more.
'I better work hard, this is my only chance to escape my fate'
