Chapitre 145: Daniel Was Awake

Chae In Ha woke up with a startled gasp as she felt a hand on her shoulder. However, her face fell when she discovered that it was no one else but Chairwoman Kang. 

"Grandma…" Chae In Ha tried to stand up and greet her but the older woman stopped her right away. 

"No, please sit. You need it more than me," Chairwoman Kang hinted at Chae In Ha's pregnancy. 

Her gaze then fell on her grandson lying down on the hospital bed and her eyes watered. It has been three months since the kidnapping accident and although the doctors said Daniel was lucky enough to survive the incident, he has been in a coma ever since. 

Since that day, the old woman blamed herself for Daniel's misfortune. If she hadn't tried to force Hye Jin on Daniel, then Chae In Ha wouldn't have left out of anger and gotten kidnapped. Neither would Daniel go after her and get kidnapped as well, almost dying in the process.
