Chapitre 41: Fight to Death
A sense of seriousness dwelled on the face of the duo who were pursuing the woman because what they saw was not some human who tried to become a hero. They saw a 'werewolf' in its fanatic stage. The werewolf group is people who are evolved from the wolf beast. They eventually learned to dwell and fit themselves with humans. Most of the humans even many cultivators never knew their existence. Some academies allowed them to pursue education and protected them as well.
After a thought, Lin Cian confirmed his claim. He saw a huge beast of three meters in height. His waist can be fit in the wolf's hand and not to mention his strength. Lin Cian understood he was in a fanatic stage by which he will have no pain but his strength will be doubled and sometimes even stronger.
The semi-naked man got up from the ground and glared at William. He spits his teeth out that were broken by the hit of William's big and strong paw. There is no fear in the face of the man.
'He didn't get serious until then' Lin Cian said to himself. He knew that he had to help William because he knew the sole reason for William's anger and instincts to battle, but he decided to stay low until his time came. Lin Cian observed everything and everyone in front of him. He was waiting patiently for his time to come. If he was saying that he isn't scared then he was lying because he was completely terrified of the events that happened meanwhile.
Lin Cian used his stealth move and equipped his dagger. His spirit essence flowed into the ground in a quantity higher than before. Lin Cian usually used his sense of presence to know the opponent's location and once again he did the same.
The fierce battle between the werewolf and a powerful creature has shattered the area. The surroundings were very disturbed by the battle of two unique and seemingly supreme beings. The woman laying on the ground slowly gained her strength that was unseen by anyone except for Lin Cian. Lin Cian prepared a plan and all he wanted to do is extend the battle and everything will be settled.
Both the seemingly supreme beings exchanged fists, kicks, and multiple attacks. William's head had the shape of a wolf and was two times larger than his previous self. That is also the point that lets Lin Cian conclude William's identity.
The whole place trembled. Lin Cian didn't expect that he would have to act very quickly. At first, Lin Cian couldn't understand why the woman laying down and watching the whole scene was nervous. But in a moment he found something. He saw that the other one from the man's side was standing still and watching the show. But the 'sense of presence' told him otherwise.
Lin Cian was confused because the 'sense of presence' let him feel the other one was near William. But he could see that the other man was having at least ten meters distance from the fight scene. His eyes were equipped with the 'demon's gaze' and instantly Lin Cian acted. He saw that the other one left his afterimage on the other side of the area and hid very near to William. Whenever William attacked the semi-naked man William's force became neutralized. Lin Cian was worried that the opponent was strong but now Lin Cian found the reason for his strength.
In between the terrifying battle, the body of the semi-naked man with sharp fangs and a huge claw seemed to grow something in his back. It was huge and wide enough to length at least two times his body width for each side. That is when Lin Cian found the identity of those mysterious men.
'Fu**, they are vampires' said Lin Cian's thoughts.
The Dracula started to raise in the thin air while flapping its wings. Lin Cian immediately acted. He saw that William's eyes were fixed towards the flying Dracula but not aware of the surroundings. When William's head rose to see the creature flying in the sky a claw appeared in thin air and reached William's neck
'Slit'
The one flying, the one ambushed and the woman laying on the ground was dumbfounded by what happened. When the other Dracula who was hiding slew William with his claws he felt a cold sensation around his wrist. The surprise was William stood still and his neck was unharmed. At that moment did the second Dracula noted that his hand was lying on the ground. That was the reason for others to get surprised.
In a blink of an eye, a light appeared around the second Dracula. Before even getting back to reality the second Dracula fell onto his knees. There a huge load of blood covered his body from his forehead to the ground.
The flying Dracula was stupefied. The trick which gave them an unimaginable victory which is only thought to specific people of the Dracula community was broken by a single 'werewolf'. But still, he wasn't aware of Lin Cian.
Lin Cian decided not to show himself and chose to use the same method as those Dracula to outnumber him. So he used his skill 'hide' and was planning to finish it quickly by outnumbering the flying Dracula.
The flying Dracula came to his senses. He was very angry towards William who killed his brother. He wanted to kill him but he knew that it is not possible because he believed that William is very stronger than him. But on the verge of his madness, Dracula decided to finish William at any cost.
He gathered all his strength. His eyes became red and bloody. His body started to change its color. It started to become red. William and Lin Cian didn't know anything because Dracula was crying in pain. But the woman realized something and started to panic.
Suddenly a red and bloody ray of light emerged from the mouth of the flying Dracula. Lin Cian's eyes widened as he understood what will be his next move. But before he could act the ray of light shot towards William. It short straight towards William's heart. Lin Cian knew William can't take it because his soul strength was depleted greatly because of the fight he had.
When the light neared William something blocked the light and only a few amounts of light pierced through William's heart. The vampire who was flying in the air fell dead to the ground midway through the light attack. Its body had no soul power left. Only then did Lin Cian see the woman who was laying on the ground a while ago was standing in front of William. She was facing William. She was smiling towards William in joy and pain because he found someone who wanted to protect her and also he was standing in front of William as a meatshield to protect him from the light attack of the Dracula.
She realized that the attack was stopped midway and turned towards the body of the Dracula. Her eyes widened as she saw the scene in front of her. The creature which threatened her was lying dead in front of them. It was Lin Cian who stopped the attack midway by piercing its heart with his dagger and stealing its soul strength. Once the body dropped to the ground his eyes fixed towards the woman who was standing in front of William.
The woman's right chest was pierced but William's left chest was pierced and his heart was punctured. He fell to the ground on his back. The woman's face turned pale but managed to stand. She ran towards William and lifted his back with ease. She makes him sit straight. Her eyes turned bloody. It was filled with tears.
"At last it was of no use," she said in a low and unbelievable tone. She rested her head in William's chest and started to cry like a little girl and started to murmur something in an embracing tone. William also seems to reply to her with some sort of wolf sounds.
Lin Cian couldn't understand anything about it. Even though William's body is huge and he had a wolf head he could see a smile on his face. William was smiling at her in satisfaction.
"Do you know him?"
A voice resounded the surroundings and that made the woman halt. She turned towards the direction of the sound and was shocked to see a skinny creature standing and staring coldly at them.
"Who are you?" she asked. It was clear that she was panicked by its sudden appearance.
