Reminiscing (Will)

It was hard to believe that had happened just a few weeks ago. I hadn't known the 'cute little girl ' my father had referred to was Marriah Roberts, I hadn't imagined I'd end up falling in love with her.

Then again, I'd never imagined I'd be able to fall in love, ever.

I smiled as I recalled the first time I'd seen her, when I'd purposefully bumped into her in that small room at the back of the book store she worked in. My actions had been anything but respectable, I had been doing exactly what my father had told me and I had just wanted it to be over with.

I wasn't a good person and I didn't give a damn about this girl, I didn't even know her. All I cared about was the wellbeing of the company I'd worked so hard to build.
