The air in the room. hangs heavy with a silence that is broken only by the rhythmic thud of Layla's heart against her ribs.

The woman stands trembling on the podium, her eyes wide with shock and disbelief as she sees the police officers advancing toward her.

She shakes her head frantically, her mouth forming the word "no" over and over again. The officers approach her, their faces stern and unyielding.

Layla stumbles down from the podium, her legs wobbling beneath her. She looks around, desperate for an ally, but the crowd that had been cheering her on just moments before now watches in judgemental silence.

"No, this can't be happening," she whispers, her voice trembling. "I haven't done anything wrong."

The lead officer steps forward, his gaze unwavering.

"Please do not resist your arrest," he says, his voice cutting through the quiet of the room.
