The office buzzed with whispers, and she could feel the stares boring into her back.

Robin's cheeks burned with shame and frustration.

She wanted to explain herself, to shout that it wasn't her fault, but she knew that would only fuel the fire.

So she kept her head down and maintained a fast pace, making her way to her office.

Once inside the sanctuary of her private space, Robin sinks into her chair, burying her face in her hands.

"This can't be happening..." she whispers, her mind racing.

Just then, she hears raised voices in the hallway.

A snippet of the conversation drifts through the closed door.

" ... heard Malik's in a rage. Wait….. oh shit, He's here!" one of the employees says.

Robin's head snaps up, her eyes wide.

Slowly, she rises from her chair and makes her way to the door, peeking out into the hallway.
