[Immortal's Point of View]
We had disembarked on the coastal part of the country, so we still had a long way to go to reach the place where I wanted to build our new civilization.
We rested for a while before gathering everything we could and started walking towards our goal. During our journey, we passed through different places. Some were hot and arid, while others were just water.
After months, we reached the dense forest we had been searching for. We ventured deep into it until we found a secluded spot that would become increasingly difficult to find over time—an ideal location to set up camp.
I helped everyone build their houses. I went into the forest, gathering trees to construct the houses. With my strength, we quickly built shelters for all 32 of us. As time passed, the people adapted to this new land. They could hunt on their own now, even without my assistance. More years went by, and I realized it was time to introduce new tools to the people, allowing them to evolve their society even faster. I left for a while to obtain iron since this place was abundant in minerals, and it didn't take long to find it.
Returning to the village a few days later, I began trying to forge something. But first, I needed to create a large clay oven for the forge. Once that was done, I placed the iron stones in the fire until they almost melted. Then, I used my hands to shape the iron into the desired form. I built some agriculture tools and other implements that could be used for forging. After all, not everyone could rely solely on their hands. As I planned to teach these skills to anyone willing to learn, I needed these materials.
[Different Villagers' Perspectives]
When we arrived on this continent, we realized Inmo wasn't exaggerating when he described it as a place full of life and greenery.
It took many moons until we reached our future home. During the journey, we could have died multiple times, but Inmo constantly saved us, protecting us like the god he is.
Upon reaching our destination, Inmo once again helped us by building houses for our shelter. As generations passed, we better understood how the world functioned. We used everything Inmo taught us to create a society that thrived in symbiosis with nature. Our appearance and intellect were gradually approaching that of Inmo's, but we never forgot what Inmo was.
No matter how much time passed, how many generations came and went, we preserved the memories of the great journey our ancestors took with "The Immortal" to reach this place. Their legends were depicted on our gigantic murals so that we would never forget the debt we owe to him.
On a normal day, Inmo arrived, showcasing his new invention: objects made of iron. We were all surprised, but soon understood how they worked and how they were made. Thanks to this knowledge, our society evolved once again. Years went by, and Inmo remained unchanged and untouched by time, while our people were born and died, following the cycle of life. Our society developed to a monumental level, mastering farming, animal husbandry, and navigation.
During this time, as we tried to tame animals for the purpose of raising them for food, we grew fond of some of them. It was then that Inmo showed us a new concept: the domestication of animals as companions and for entertainment. Throughout this period, we realized that Inmo looked at pets in the same way he always looked at us, revealing the answer to a question we had asked for centuries.
Although Inmo may have seen us as animals, we understood that he didn't treat us as such creatures. We knew what our ancestors looked like, and we understood them. Yet, an invisible desire arose within all of us to be seen as more than that by him. So, we worked towards that goal, giving our utmost to be recognized by Inmo.
With this decision, our society evolved even faster. We undertook great constructions and organized our chain of command thanks to Inmo, who showed us different forms of governance. We had a clear path of how to progress along this journey. We decided on a government structure similar to monarchy, with Inmo as the ruler. However, he refused, and no one dared to govern in his place. So, we formed a council to make decisions for the betterment of the kingdom.
Generations passed, and the Throne, made of the purest gold that could be found, remained empty, untouched, as it belonged to a single individual, and it would forever remain so.
[Immortal's Point of View]
I was amazed by what this small tribe had become, and I felt a little proud, knowing that I had given them a small helping hand along the way. As I looked at the city, I thought it might be time to show them how to harness energy, which would take their society to another evolutionary leap.
And it was at that moment that a shiver ran through me. I felt the mystical air spreading like a wave across the planet, and then it vanished as if it had never happened. It lasted only seconds, but it was enough for my body to undergo a transformation. I hadn't understood yet what had changed, but I would soon find out.
After multiple extinction events, the Earth was entering the golden age of life. Various groups of rational beings were gathering, forming settlements around the world, giving birth to the beginnings of future human society. Among them, a select group of beings called Homo Magi stood out. They acquired their supernatural powers after the God Wave.
The Homo Magi evolved rapidly, and together they decided to establish their own settlement on the continent of Atlantis, quickly thriving and surpassing all others, reaching the forefront of humanity.
In other parts of the world, beings with great powers emerged, endowed with the power of creation and destruction. These groups were regarded as deities by humanity and were called Titans, who proclaimed themselves the masters of the sky, earth, and sea.
They soon divided into different pantheons and divided the Earth into different domains. Among them, one of the strongest was the Greek pantheon, with Cronus as its leader. He acquired his position after killing his father Uranus. This act not only earned him the title of king of the Titans but also bestowed upon him a terrible prophetic curse that he would be overthrown by his own children. Tormented by this curse, Cronus began to fear his children, and he devoured them as soon as they were born.
Rhea, Cronus' wife, was desperate to see her children being devoured by her husband. Witnessing each offspring she bore meet the same fate, she revolted. Together with Gaia, the ancient queen of the Titans and mother of Cronus, they devised a plan to save one of Rhea's children.
The new goddess of the Titans gave birth to another child, but this time she managed to save him. She handed the child to Gaia to protect and conceal him. This child was named Zeus.
Zeus was raised by nymphs to survive without his father knowing of his existence. Later, when he was older, Zeus disguised himself and managed to make his father drink a potion that made him regurgitate all the children he had swallowed before, now adults. It was at this moment that the Titanomachy began. With the support of all his liberated siblings, Zeus declared war against Cronus.
This war spread throughout the world, causing other pantheons to take sides. Incessant battles raged across the globe, destroying everything in their path. Meanwhile, humanity could only flee and pray for mercy. However, these creatures never cared about ants; to them, humanity was an inferior race meant to be dominated by them. That's how they thought, until...
