Chapitre 15: German Hell on Lauria
With the news of the navy being annihilated, losing contact with everywhere but Gim and the Capital and finally the capital being attacked. Moral was at a all time low, but the lower ranks were not told as to prevent rebellion. As the commanders in Gim all threw around ideas of why and how these Germans manage to beat them they finally got a message from command. They had received an order from the 'main' force in the Capital that came from the infamous Lieutenant General Adem. Mobilize your troops and set up camp 3 km west of Ejey. Standby there, Begin to siege it.
After reading that order, Junfilla had suffered a stomachache. Unlike Gim and the other surrounding towns, Ejey was constructed by Qua Toyne specifically to defend against attacks from Lauria. It was a fortified castle town and also a military base. Gim's defenses couldn't even begin to compare to Ejey's. Ejey was located about 50 kilometers east of Gim. The advance force was currently camped 5 kilometers east of Gim. The complication came from the fact that the Hawk Knights had been scouting about 20 kilometers east when they were eliminated, which they still found hard to believe.In other words, about halfway to Ejey, they might have to deal with whatever was capable of completely annihilating a highly-mobile force without even a single person escaping. Yet, if he were to defy Adem's orders, not only would he be killed for insubordination, Adem would likely gruesomely murder his family as well. That alone he had to avoid. Therefore, the 32,000 soldiers of the Kingdom of Lauria remaining eastern vassal army advance force headed east. But 10 000 Germans were waiting, and with them was death.
Castle Town Ejey
Kua Toine's main military force was stationed in Ejey: 30 000 soldiers belonging to the western army. They consisted of 50 wyverns, 3000 cavalry and 27,000 infantry armed with Muskets. General Nho was confident that the Laurian invasion could be repelled from this fort. It had a 25-meter-tall bulwark for repelling enemy attacks and 50 elite, trained wyverns and to top it off he had 100 10.5cm cannons(Model 1822). How steadfast! How perfect! No matter how great their army, there was no possible way Ejey could fall!
"General Nho, sir, the Imperial German Army is here."
They were cooperating because that was the order from the government,Normally he would hate this,But because of the new weapons and seeing the Germans extreme devotion to what they called ''Prussian Discipline'' in the 3 months they were here,not once did a incident of any kind happen,they showed such high levels of discipline that he envy them.When he heard they navy of 1 ship sunk 4300 ships of Lauria.He didn't believe it,but the facts spoke to him:Germany was a powerhouse.In his friends own words''They are On the side of God''
However,He didn't like how they only sent a single regiment to help him.This time,Germany only sent the 17th Regiment of their Imperial German Army,10,000 men. They had set up a star-shaped encampment about 5 kilometers east of Ejey,he thought their Base looked very nice. Apparently the government approved it months ago, but it certainly irked him a bit to have another country's army set up inside his country and have them taking most of the shots. He had heard their population was 106 million, so only sending 10,000 felt like they were saying they were only giving the bare minimum. In any case, as long as the forces of Ejey drove off Lauria's army by themselves,Germany wouldn't have the chance to do anything.
Knock, knock.
"Enter."
General Nho stood up to greet them.
"Excuse us."
Two men entered the room and bowed.while a third one looked at Nho
"I am Lieutenant General Alfred Marx from the Imperial German Army's 7th Regiment."
Their Uniforms were all grey,and the 3 men had many medals,to Nho they looked still like a elite fighting force,Nho took a deep breath.
''Well I greet you as well Mr.Marx,I am General Nho,Commander of this Fortress,We appreciate your country sending us reinforcements and training are new army. Thank you very much."
''That is no problem,if you allow us to inform us of any plans you made,as we have one that is made to kill all those evil and soul destroying men in one fall swoop''said Alfred
''Oh? Please tell,My plan was to use our new weapons to pick them off in a battle in depth, attacking from the walls and cutting them down bit by bit''said Nho
''That is a sound strategy but for us we call that stuck 200 years in the past,forgive us for that'' said Alfred
''None at all! You must have a powerful plan for that force right?''asked Nho
''Yes,we have 400 20.3cm Artillery of the 1940 caliber,they are pointed to have a effective range of 33.5KM,with that we can hit them from 28.5Km from where we are,we plan once they make camp to open fire for 1 hour before we send 4000 men with their guns to kill the rest,at that same time of Planes will conduct a sweeping attack as well should more than 1000 live''Alfred said with perfect confidence
Nho looked at them with a wide smile
''Ahaha! I knew you Germans were good! with this the Laurains will be massacred! Go with your plan,In the event that they attack us while you're still preparing,we will buy time,I allow you to fire on our positions should they fall''said Nho
''That is understandable,As we say,everything for thh Greater good of the Nation''said Alfred
All the men saluted

The German commander left the room with his men. Nho pondered.If either plan failed,who will take the blame? He said that the German had more Pride,from what he leared from History Books,these Germans were disunited for as long as time allowed them,But now united,they were ready to defend their Nation at any cost,They must have lots of Pride,But how much pride?
