Chapitre 36: Tentacles Play
Third Person PoV
Amatsuka Kou could be seen standing inside the Adelard Monastery, gazing feverishly at the mural on the broken walls.
"So that is the wiseman's blood?"
A man dressed as the CEO of a company said, flanked by two guards.
"Yes but currently it's just a lump of metal." Kou said, turning around.
He looked at the newcomers and then turned around. He lifted a red orb he had taken from Kanase Kensei and brought it near the mural.
And magically the mural turned into a blood red liquid.
"This is the power of the hard core, by injecting one's consciousness into it, they can maintain their ego even when merged with the wiseman's blood. Wiseman's blood being a metal that can't be destroyed, one becomes undying. This is the peak of alchemy, my master, Nina Adelard achieved."
Kou said in a gleeful voice, the onlookers were surprised that he was telling them this much, even more so as he was quite tight lipped beforehand.
"With that power I will be able to show those bastards above me their place. Don't worry, Kou, your loyalty will be rewarded." The CEO said.
"No,no it was all thanks to you saving me five years ago, or else I wouldn't be able to make a dummy core."
The shady magician said, showing off his chest which was half metal with a black orb embedded at the centre of his chest.
Kou only smiled at that and handed the hard core to his saviour. The wiseman's blood fell down to the ground and encroached the bulky man.
The man had already took off his shirt and blazer, leaving his torso naked, it was important to point out the small orbs that he had implanted all over his chest and shoulders, were smaller dummy cores.
"I can feel the power, it's melting into me!"
The red liquid metal gradually took the form of a female, although her actual features were hard to discern.
"So this is the great alchemist, Nina Adelard." The man, half covered in red metal said.
"Yes, her ego sleeping within the hard core has awakened, without killing it we can't control the wiseman's blood." Kou explained the phenomena.
"That is the purpose of the dummy cores."
The man yelled but nothing happened, except the female avatar to glare harder.
"Wh-What? My body is being devoured? Kou, do something!"
But he only saw the alchemist speak nonchalantly.
"It's been a while, master. Without your hard core, the wiseman's blood is unusable but when you are awakened you are immortal, so I must destroy you from within to take the wiseman's blood."
With a snap of his fingers the cores embedded onto the man broke and corrupted the red liquid making it turn black.
The two guards tried to stop it, but failed miserably, Kou slashed them into pieces with his hand turned sword.
Nina Adelard's ego tried to put up a last ditch fight, but Kou was prepared for that. Their fight broke down the already destroyed Monastery.

The duo of Kanon and Astarte walked through the shrubs of the hill as they neared towards the former home of Kanon, the Adelard Monastery.
Kanon was asking Astarte about alchemists, and the homunculus was providing the little girl all she could.
Just as they were about to reach the Monastery, they came to see a pile of black liquid fighting a magician?
"Execute, Rhododactylus."
Astarte said without any delay and the white familiar covered her body.
"Please call you familiar or transform, as told by the master."
"Hai!"
But it seems they were finally noticed by Kou.
"Oya? It seems I have been spotted,-!? Is that Kanase Kanon? It seems fate wants you to die at my hand."
Saying that Amatsuka melded into a puddle of silver liquid and merged with the black liquid.
Quickly the entire liquid turned silver and Amatsuka Kou once again stood in front of the two like his human form.
"Now, Kanase Kanon, let me finish what I started!"
"Objection, Master has requested elimination of the subject named Amatsuka Kou, proceeding with the order."
The behemoth familiar moved forward as multiple tendrils of silver metals came at her, but with a single swipe of her hand sent them away.
A tendril was caught by her hand and it's magic was drained instantly, making it dry up and become flaky.
"A homunculus, with a familiar? What a weird sight, but it won't be enough."
The madman said and multiple tendrils rushed towards Kanon, who was still standing and watching Astarte.
She had just remembered a memory she had forgotten upon seeing Kou.
But her instincts, improved due to her angel modification, flared at the right moment, allowing her to crouch down and survive.
"As a blood servant of Akatsuki Kojou, successor to the blood of the Kaleid Blood, I, Angel Faux, Kanase Kanon summon you, Come, Ninth Familiar, Al-Nasl-Minium!"
The bicorn of death neighed as it produced shockwaves from its single horn.
The waves collided with the silver metal and destroyed it at a molecular level, rendering its undying attribute useless.
Before Amatsuka could even understand what had happened he was grabbed by Astarte and had his magic drained and with another wave from Kojou's familiar he shattered into grey flakes.
Only a cracked black orb on the ground remained as his last will in the world, or so it seemed.
Kou had already separated his body into three parts and escaped, the destinations of its three bodies were unknown.
"Astarte-San, we did it!"
"Affirmative. Completion of the objective given by the Master."
The blue haired homunculus called her familiar back and so did Kanon, but before that could say anything or celebrate their victory.
A large beam of purple magic was shot from the top of Keystone gate to the sky.
Both of them were able to sense the magic of the 4th Primogenitor in the large beam.
"Is that where Onii-san's body is?"
"Affirmative. 100% match with the 4th Primogenitor's magical signature."
"Lets go, Astarte-san, Onii-san and Yukina-chan may need our help."
"Accept."
The two of them quickly began go live towards the Keystone gate, using the app provided by Asagi to not get warped away.
…
"Tank, try to find more information on Tokoyogi Aya. I am looking into Minamiya-sensei."
"Hai, Empress-dono!"
Asagi had also felt the wave of power that belonged to Kojou, but she didn't ponder on it much.
She was sure Kojou would handle it.
…
"Um, La Folia, why are we going towards the Keystone gate?"
"Because, Kojou's body is up there?"
"I know, but that isn't what Kojou said, we are supposed to fight the Meyer Sisters."
"Ara, I didn't know you followed Kojou's order even when you were already on a mission by LKO?"
"It's not that! It's just that he is reliable, just a little bit!"
"Is that so? Then fine, but we should take a look anyways, what if the witches are there?"
"Fine."
The two continued towards the source of magical power.

"Senpai, one more warp we will be near Keystone Gate?"
"Yes, that is what the app shows."
The two crossed a school classroom door and found themselves, just below Keystone gate, but the two didn't get to relax as.
"Watch out, senpai!"
The two of them rolled over as a helicopter fell on their place. The two landed on the ground and quickly watched in the air.
Multiple tentacles were destroying the island management's air force.
"Let's go, we can't stop now."
"Hai."
The two of them began the climb to the top of the keystone gate. The two quickly reached the roof and rushed to find Yuuma standing in front of a floating grimoire.
Two witches standing with their bodies intertwined and looking sadistically at the falling helicopters.
And as always the annoying face of Vatler was present to watch all of it like he was a narrator.
"Yuuma, why the fuck are you dressed as a wal-mart Dracula?"
Yukina didn't stop but one could hear her sigh, it seems she was used to Kojou making the most unbelievable stuff during a tense moment.
"Your habit of showing up at the most important time hasn't changed I see, Kojou."
Yuuma said with a smile on her face.
"Himeragi, do I always look that annoying when I act all smug like that?"
"Unfortunately, yes, senpai."
"My apologies, I will try not to from now on."
By now the sun had set and the island management's air force was completely destroyed.
The tentacles still roamed about the perimeter of the rooftop of the Keystone Gate.
Yuuma, twirling a lock of hair on Kojou's body said with a nostalgic smile.
"I admired you a lot, Kojou. I even cut my hair to look like you, never thought I would become you."
"Please stop, that's creepy. Wait- You didn't relieve yourself or something, right?"
His question made both Yukina and Yuuma blush. Seeing the blush spread on his body, Kojou felt weirdly uncomfortable.
"No, I have far more important things to do such as that-!"
"So you never thought of me while doing the stuff that every adolescent does?"
Yuuma didn't answer that but the blush only deepened.
"Senpai, what are you saying?"
"Well I was trying to see if shaking her mind would undo the magic, it seems not."
Kojou said, shrugging 'his' body which was not his.
"So, I am gonna ask nicely, give my body back, Yuuma."
"I will soon."
"Will you? Okay I guess. But I have a question, you taking my body wouldn't happen to do something with my English teacher, Natsuki-chan, would it?"
"The witch of the void?"
"Yes, that is her alias."
"She is the guardian of the prison barrier. My mother is imprisoned inside it, I will break my mother free."
"I see, what if Natsuki-chan didn't agree with you?"
"I will kill her."
"Is that so? Then what after that? At some point, I will get my body back, what then. Mark my words Yuuma, I will kill you, your mother, and every single fucking witch in the world to extinction, if you dare hurt a single hair of Natsuki-chan's body."
Even though no magical power was realized from the body Kojou was inhabiting, his words made everyone present here shiver.
And piece of advice rang in the back of Yukina's mind.
'The 4th Primogenitor isn't just the twelve beast vassels but the soul that binds and controls them, indestructible body or not cursed by gods or not, the 4th Primogenitor is not something anyone can provoke and live, be careful, lest he devours you.'
Kojou said, almost growling with a glare strong enough to make Yuuma get scared.
But before any of them could, say anything, Vatler jumped in on the conversation.
"Yo, Kojou, looking adorable today."
"Don't lie, Vatler, I know you are gay, so your tricks won't work on me."
Kojou said with a straight face, while Vatler could only smile ruefully at that.
"I am here to see the prison barrier open, legendary criminals would come out, I will get to fight them, but don't worry, I'll take responsibility for eliminating all of them."
"Who asked?"
Kojou said to Vatler and didn't spare him a single glance, but he did see him get frustrated and the blonde vanished in his golden mist.
As Vatler went away, finally the other two witches who were surprisingly civil till now attacked the two girls using their slippery, slimy, red, thick and girthy tentacles.
The two were able to successfully dodge them once, but Kojou, not used to fighting in this body, got captured, and Yukina did too shortly after him.
"They will make great corpses, Onee-sama!"
"Yes, Octavia, let's start by ripping their legs off."
It would seem Yuuma was still in shock, hearing Kojou say that he would kill her in cold blood if she did something to his english teacher.
'Is his teacher more important to him than me?'
But before Yumma could think more, a gunshot was fired and Kojou was freed from the grasp of the sinister tentacles, which were suspiciously close to the important body parts.
And soon after with a few slices of a sword, Yukina too was freed from her captivity.
"Yukina, Akatsuki Kojou, we came to save you!"
Sayaka said excitedly, while La Folia only smiled at Yuuma's body, knowing that it was Kojou inside, it, of course only for speech, for now anyways
