Synopsis
The empire encompassed endless twinkling stars, but in this dark and terrifying distant future, there were only endless wars.
......
Gu Hang became the governor of a wasteland planet, where previous governors had all been executed for failing to deliver the tithe on time.
Monsters and Low Energy Storms rampaged, survivor factions schemed against each other, technological regression, low productivity, the resurgence of Evil Gods, Green Skin Orcs taking root and sprouting...
"Don't panic just yet, let me check the panel below."
[Military Tokens], [Heroes], [Technology], [Events]...
Starting as the planetary governor, he would build fleets that traversed the Star Sea, suppressing all alien forms, heretics, traitors, and demons of chaos!
Although I formed battle groups on my own, funded Battle Nuns, diverted the imperial tax, and disregarded deployment orders... I knew I was fiercely loyal!
Traitors? This is clearly the Third Empire!

Écrire un avisGreat novel except skip Chapter 83 … they literally charge you a FP or coin for just author comments … 😡
A rather intriguing novel, it luckily is interesting enough to be a somewhat original concept, and is a far cry better than the trash that has been spewed out with low quality translations. The main character is smart enough within his own right and knows how to use his capabilities, whereas the other characters whilst not completely blank still aren’t very flushed out. Nonetheless a good read for passing the time.
I am very much enjoying this book, it’s a very stable book with nothing outrageous but enough to keep you hooked when reading, I also love the focus on both military and infrastructure of the planet as a whole.
Good start to the story, getting a bit weak but still solid overall up to chapter 143. Translation quality is dropping though and update frequency seems patchy. Hope the author continues to find inspiration and improve the quality of translation. Will review again after i have read more chapters
this a good History for the univers où Warhammer 40k take a good look and i love New technologies the héro mc is not to power full or to small i wait for New discovery of it
So far i'm enjoy this story a lot, it's inspired on the warhammer 40k world so we know it as great potencial, and it as, the MC starts as a world governor but the way the story progresses we know he won't stop there, the characters are interesting and the world is very interesting... Just be warned, this is translated with a program, not a person, so it could be way better and the names get mixed around and wrongly translated ALOT. All in all, i recommend this book (even with the translation problems), the story is very good, and if you're a warhammer fan i'm sure you'll like it even more. As for buying the VIP chapters, i'm not buying them, think the price is high for the translation quality, but this is my opinion you guys read and think if it's worth it.
start of okay and falls off super fast. It became so bloated and hard to read you end up skimming through chapters and at some point you skip entire chapters. The author cares more about word count than actual substance. The MC doesn't simply decide on anything. he will debate with himself for half a chapter in almost all the chapters. it is so blatantly obvious it is all filler.
this is a comment i made when the author had a note on a chapter saying people weren't happy with him lately. I figured it would make a decent review up till this point (end of first major arc/milestone) I wonder why the author's been getting flak? while this arc has been kinda long, it has been established that this is a massive step for the MC, we'll likely get a similar length arc for each milestone which is normal. is it because the priests somehow teleported from inside the inner city factory to the outer city? figured that was just part of the part that got cut out on webnovel. is it characters? these are some of the best characters I've seen in a Chinese webnovel. they're consistent, both in personality and intelligence. creativity? the author is pretty much slightly twisting Warhammer 40k, but that's kinda a plus, it's a well thought out and constructed universe. i could go on but it's pretty good so far
Read up to chapter 640 great interstellar empire building novel set in a universe strongly resembling the warhammerverse.
Overall this book is a good read and I dare say could have been much better if it wasn’t for the blatant China is great theme throughout. From Political Officers, Comrade xyz and so forth. It was almost a copy of the Chinese Politburo in so many ways. I tried to look past all that but it was futile. The social point grasping is strong in this one. Anyways, if the author was westernised or maybe abit more liberal then it could have been a good long term read. I scored it fairly with 4s but overall it fell short.
I stopped reading at chapter 18. It seemed like a pointless parody of Warhammer 40k. I know I haven't read enough chapters to make a full judgment, but based on what I've seen so far, I can already say that this story is not very good. I don't want to list and explain all the nonsense in the story, but I will mention one thing that stands out to me. All the main character's troops move on foot — there are no vehicles, no cars, motorcycles, airplanes, helicopters, or futuristic spaceships.
Another warhammer 40k novel which is always great. So far it’s been a decent read. The mc has some brain and although the side characters aren’t very fleshed out yet, as of chapter 31 they don’t seem to be 2D. The translation is also good. I think this novel has a lot of potential.
