Chapitre 61: Criminal

The meeting with Dylan ended with the conclusion being reached that it was possible for Arnold Davies to easily get out of the prison. Only few documents were needed to be fabricated, and someone else should shoulder the blame.

And he selected the perfect candidate for it. Arnold wasn't in on it alone, so finding a scapegoat wasn't a difficult matter.

When the matter was dealt with, Valerie walked Dylan out of the conference room. That's when, Dylan's next words caused her to pause in her steps.

"Do you wish for Chairman Davies to not get from that prison?" he questioned.

This caught her off guard for a second. She was right to feel wary of him from the beginning. Did he notice her hostility towards Arnold Davies? Or could it be that he personally had something against him? No matter what it was, this alone made him seem not trustworthy.

"Why would I wish that?" she questioned.
