Sai calls out with the named individual breathing out a heavy sigh as he put out his right arm and formed a long sword before launching it like a projectile towards the cocoon.

The projectile traveling at the speed of sound before finally getting repelled as it got too close to the cocoon.

"Huh."

Other candidates whom also saw the repulsion were also staring in shock.

"The cocoon is exuding some kind of aura out of it that acts like a shield. Even if Okoye or Killian went too close, they would get immobilized. None of us here are strong enough to overcome the powerful aura protecting the cocoon at this point so all we can do now is wait."

Dan remarks.

"If the aura protecting the aura is so strong that it won't even allow us come close to the cocoon, what makes you think that when the creature inside emerges, we would actually stand a chance to defeat it??"
